It's been proven to be beatable vanilla with only a single floor so yeah it's definitely not that hard with mods.

well thats not to say its hard, i mainly beat it using pale glory + rebellion of assistant librarian stuff on binah's floor (plus a bit of bygone memoria)

Unfortunately I have no idea, not with it mysteriously capping at 9 at least. I'd normally assume it's something patching something else in the base game, but that arbitrary limitation is truly strange.

You could send the game logs my way I guess, I might be able to glean something from those.

I'm unsure if there is a mod conflict or not but each wave is only spawning 9 people and they're in odd positions. I'm missing a bunch of enemies such as the crying children and tomerry which confuses me.

If you mean the various boss themes, they should be playing. There's a bug where it might be delayed by a turn if you use EGO the turn before a wave change, but otherwise I'm not sure why you're not getting any music.

Not really. I've tried my darndest to optimize it but there's only so much I can do, although I might be able to improve at least a few things still. Unfortunately I'm not sure I have the time anymore to rip the game open to try those fixes.
At some point I guess I could maybe look into making a smaller waves config but I'm not sure how I'd divide them up. Also I'd have to modify quite a bit of wave specific logic built into the mod.

Have you tried just waiting for a minute or two? On slower computers the game can just stop responding for upwards of a minute while trying to spawn characters in. It often looks like the game has crashed but it's just loading.

I really like the idea of a really long continuous fight through all the receptions, but my game keeps crashing trying to spawn in a few dozen characters. Is there any 'lite' version of this mod?

@Gae Forggo i've long since forgotten if i can reply on steam but, if you use a mass attack you can cancel the move, esp easy since its a 1-1

Are you saying it causes slowdowns across the entire game, or only when in Finnal Battle itself?

In the battle I can't do much about for hopefully obvious reasons, but if it's effecting the entire game, which it shouldn't I should look into that. If it's the latter, what exactly does it seems to be slowing down?

Yeah, I've definitely encountered that problem with ensemble 2 and Fascinating Fabric before. Thankfully you can still use your ego hand if I remember correctly.

Well I owe you for that tip since it got me to the last fight. That being said I encountered that bug again when I got hit with the extra red strings/Contract. Which I imagine means its the base game card bug. I uploaded the video to GitHub. Interestingly it shows I only have 9 cards in my hard, when in reality I should have 11.

Thanks for sending the logs, it helps a lot.

Looking at them, the relevant error appears to be blank, which is either the base game or a mod throwing out the exception.
If I remember correctly the too many cards bug is one of the few things that does that, still, I'll look further into it.
If it was the too many cards bug, I'll see about bumping up my priority on making a patch to fix it.

Also just as a random tip, mass attack Oswald's page to stop it from going off, and I'd also focus him down. Currently he's bugged to use it every turn, which is something I need to fix. Pluto also still needs fixing but at least he doesn't give contracts every turn anymore.

Forgot about Tanya's ability entirely. Its definitely possible I ended up with 11 cards, although it was within the first couple turns. That being said it might have also been a mod, I dont have a particularly large amount of mods on, just some core mods and a retain dice. I turned off most other mods and tried again, my last run the issue didn't happen. I sent over that file on Github so hopefully that will help

Also the reason the enemies could target you when Claws of Savagery activated is because of Tanya.

Did you have more than... I think it's 11 cards in your normal hand?
If you did, that's a vanilla bug that I should really just make a separate mod to fix at some point.

If that wasn't the case, you can send me the log file at %AppData%\..\LocalLow\Project Moon\LibraryOfRuina\player.log and I can check to see what the problem was.

I ran into a bug at the reverb ensemble. Was playing on Gebura's floor with the grade one fixer page and the pages were vamprism, claws, mountain, ruddled, and shell. I was pretty much spamming protection, but after I was free from Owsald i couldn't pick any cards. It also activated claws of savagery but the enemies were still able to target the character. A turn later when Owsald took control again, claws of savagary activated and the enemies could still target. Kind of a specific interaction but the fact that you can't pick your cards anymore pretty much ends the run their.

That's completely fair, but if you do add it I'll be grateful. Just Xiao would be fine; I can live with Yan/Argalia since you can choose whose power gets nulled.

Personally I think that's part of the fun, but that's fair.
I might add that in an update, shouldn't be too hard to do, at least for Xiao. Might add a config for each character that does it.

...Honestly Xiao helps to negate Hook/Leer abuse, but I'll still add that setting, and then look into adding it to Yan and Argalia later.

Could I request the ability to turn off power null effects in their entirety via the configs? High-strength-stacked Mass Attacks are the only way I can possibly see myself getting through this without frankly obscene luck. I waltzed right into Xiao on one of her power null scenes and it killed an otherwise good run.

That may be one other factor. To my knowledge, none of the mods I have alter anything about targeting, but I do keep all the target lines visible at all times. If it's not that, I'll have to troubleshoot which mod it is.

Yeah, I can't manage replicate the error, both with and without BBE.
It's likely one of the other mods you have installed is altering either the target line UI behavior, or the BattleUnitTargetArrowUI enemyList.

If you still get the error while only running BBE and Finnal, Finnal by itself, or if you figure out what mod is causing a conflict, feel free to tell me.

Could you try doing Finnal Battle again and, when it breaks, send me the log located at %AppData%\..\LocalLow\Project Moon\LibraryOfRuina\player.log ? It'd make it a lot easier to identify the problem.

(Also I'm honestly surprised several of those nexus mods even still work since a bunch of them weren't ever updated for BBE)

So, I think this mod needs some work. The combat system kind of just broke down once the horde of enemies with Walter's crew showed up. The scene can't be advanced, the clash preview lines disappeared, and everyone's die were greyed out. You could still select pages though. I was using Red Mist to Onrush most of the fight if it's relevant to the issue

Probably. Try leaving it for a minute, on my machine it only locks up for about 3 seconds, but on a worse machine it could lock up for a bit longer.
Sorry about that, the game wasn't designed to ever load more than 10 units at a time. I tried my best to optimize it but I can only do so much.
