no matter what, eachtime I step into the gmod9 menu in the spawnlist it just reloads the map eachtime.

You can also have this occur when the game's cache is asking for, or utilizing bad information.
Did you mess with the workshop file?
gma file is corrupted.
even gmpublisher cant download it
The only thing I can do is quickly finish making the update for the mod and publishing it. Though, my concern about this is if it will do the same thing again where people can't receive the update. The only thing you can do in the meantime is either wait until you CAN get the mod to update (or just not use the mod), or experiment to find a way to tell the game to update the addon (best to be careful if you choose this route).
