Pretty descriptions were never my specialty. It might be fun to work on that though. Yes, a lot of the weapons do have special affects. The fire sword for example will set enemies on fire. The glass sword is a one-hit-kill weapon etc. The straight up melee damage is meant to be "balanced" but certain weapons do hit pretty hard. The Infinity Bow is a particularly effective ranged weapon with a very high range and fire rate.

Do these weapons have some hidden effects that aren't mentioned in the info panel? Because their stats seem rather mediocre. For example, the Fire Sword only has 8.60 melee damage per second, which is only marginally better than a gladius with 8.27 mdps.

I have created a spin-off of the glass sword here, you can run it standalone or after this mod to upgrade the glass sword to full functionality. I also dropped the related files on the discord if Bowen wants to incorporate it directly.

It would seem I haven't been getting notifications on posts. So some real late replies coming.

1: The Glacial Staff is exclusive to UO and never appeared in the single player games which is primarily why it wasn't included. If I ever add more content though I'll consider it.

2: The Black Sword, would require coding to duplicate faithfully but if you have my Forge of Virtue mod you can craft blackrock swords and gear.

3: The Chaos Sword unfortunately disappears upon use so... :)

4: I personally think it's a nice fit for Rimworld of Magic. but that's me.

5: I added weapons to the Artifacts category but may require something custom.

To be perfectly honest I've been mostly modding elsewhere and obviously haven't paid much attention to Rimworld for awhile but I do want to get back into it some more so we'll see how things go.

@Bowen If you are updating this mod to 1.5 could you also give the weapons from this mod their own categories? Something like Artifact/Melee or similiar? Some mods add recipe to destroy weapons and it would make it easier to exclude them. Or designate a special storage for these items.

Really nice mod (and a nice nostalgia trip an old curmudgeon like me.) Any plans to do the Black Sword from Forge of Virtue? Although I can imagine that trying to do a faithful recreation of that would be a bit more complicated.

Phasers, blasters, 'power' suits.. could all pretty much be considered vanilla content since the game already has stuff like that already. It's all pretty generic high tech stuff so I'm disinclined to make it when there is no official style or unique properties to them.

Enilno is coming, I just haven't found a design I like for it yet. Same for most anything else though I probably won't be doing anything that didn't originate in Sosaria/Britannia. (ie items from Pagan or UWII etc) Enilno being the one exception.

what about Enilno and the Blaster? Though the former was a situational-damage weapon (instakill on Minax)...the latter was a handheld laser that did more damage than a cannon.
