you need grim horizon lite for this mod to work.

What I meant is the Dark Event themselves can have a setting how often they can be rolled. some may be unique so won't come back once you removed them. Most will have a chance to be selected again to be possible in the future. Some may even have a higher chance to be selected depending how often they were allready active

It's not 1 month? Do we have to use this mod with the original grim horizon lite?
Stukov81-T.TV 25 Mar @ 8:11am
Yes it is working, by default dark events are not limited on how often they can roll out. some may be

Is it still working ?

And when we cancel a dark event, can they still come back in the future ?

I'll write what I said in the discord here in case others are looking. "The game would always crash after the video no matter what I did before hand. I simply deactivated mods until I found the one that caused the crash which was one of grim horizon lite redux, or text fix. Like I said probably a weird interaction taking place."

I doubt its anything this mod is doing. Why do you think this mod would be the culprit? I could be missing something.

I had an interesting repeatable crash with this mod installed. When I get to Avatar Project video it CTD after it finishes playing. I have +300 mods installed, including covert infiltration, so there is likely some odd conflict going on but I wanted to post the issue here in case someone else ran into the same issue.

Hey, thanks for your advice. I restarted the campaign (35 hours already played O.O) without McGees and some other mods. Hopefully it will work now.
TeslaRage  [author] 13 Apr, 2022 @ 3:50pm
Hey, sorry you are having these troubles. I doubt its caused by this mod. Based on your list, the only one I am not running is MGee's WOTC Highways. I am not saying its the root of the issue, but thats the difference I see between yours and mine.

Also, the last step of the chain is always a sabotage mission i.e. destroy object, sabotage transmitter, or neutralise field commander. Check if you are running any mods that change these missions.

Good luck!

Do you have any idea how to fix this? I literally cannot start a single final mission of the activity chain.

Ah, and I use these map mods:
- Missing Packages Fix + Ressource
- Missing Packages Fix - Parcels and Maps Edition
- Maps by Vozati [WotC Edition]
- Map Expansion UPK
- Map[Forest]
- Map[Dam]
- MGee's WOTC Highways

I use AML, no conflicts, and did a clean campaign start. I think, I can identify a problem in the launchlogfile. I compared 2 different mission during an endless loading screen and noticed, that they are almost perfectly identical. Then I looked at the logfile of a story mission (no loading bug there). There was one part in it, that was completely missing in the logs of the bugged missions:

@TeslaRage

Hi, I really appreciate your work. The activity chains spice up the game to a level, where I have to make really hard decisions. Great!

But unfortunately I have a serious technical issue. The last mission is never loading. I end up in an endless loading screen. It's not a real freeze, but music is still playing, the xcom icon in the corner still rotates, and I can tab in and out. Just a never ending loading screen.

It only happens in the last of the 4 steps, the final mission to remove the dark event. It occurs in EVERY single final mission of the activity chain. All other missions (story, blacksites etc) are loading without problems.

I don't know, why this happens, but it is suspious that this issue only shows up in the final mission where I can remove the dark event, and nowhere.
