Hey, just curious, but is this mod achievement compatible? Would love to run this for a cybernetic creed build but don't want to miss out on achievements

Once the next Mechanicus game is released, Ill update this mod with the new character voices. However that will be contingent on me finding out how to get those audio files.

Thank you so much for this mod. Its the one absolutely mandatory mod for me. The sounds are very pleasant, and have just enough personality to give your species a distinct "tone of voice" without getting grating after hearing it for the 500th time in a playthrough. Love it.

Hi, quick bug report: The Rhezak advisor is using the default "a new empire has established communications" dialog when debris is analyzed.

@Borgio Its just an adviser pack and has no actual code of its own. The warning is just as a result of a line of text in the config file referencing an older release of the game. Thus you can just ignore the warning and play without any issues.

It's not working for me. It says it was made for a previous version. Can i fix it someway? I can not glorify the Omnissiah without it :admech:

There's a typo on line 221 of mechanicum.asset: sound/vo/CAPTRIX/advisor_notification_debri_analysed_01.wav should be sound/vo/CAPTRIX/advisor_notification_debris_analysed_01.wav

Hey! Great mod! Many advisors fit into the game like a glove, especially in materialistic empires! Everything is done almost as it should. It would be worth, of course, to bring their icons to the original form and write the names with a capital letter, the rest small. In addition, in the game itself, there is no scroll bar in the menu and you cannot select other advisors. I could help with the translation of the names of advisors into Russian, and also try to dig deeper into the interface. If you are interested, how can I contact you?

As a guy who took a couple of audio engineering classes and messed with music for a long time, I will say that you always want to take the original audio at the highest volume possible so you capture the audio. That's already done in your case, so amplify the original file (audacity is fine) and try to get it to the right amount of dB in one step so it would clip slightly with the box unchecked, then go back and add that amount of amplification with the "no clip" box checked.

Then you get the maximum quality sound file amplified to the maximum level with no dynamic losses due to overcompression/loss of dynamic range.

Don't worry about them being loud, there's an advisor volume bar for a reason. So make it nice and loud, and if its too loud we can always turn it down. :steamthumbsup:

they're like 30% of the normal volume of advisors.
Everyone does them way too quiet compared to normal ones. Its not just a you thing.

@Technics Man sorry to hear about the volume issue. I believe i can easily fix that with an audacity macro. I didnt want them to be too loud. I guess i ended up making them too quiet.:cortex:

The only thing I have to say about this amazing mod, is that the volume on the advisors is a little to low compared to vanilla advisors. Othewise it's a amazing mod

@shamowow its the same as any other adviser voice pack. Meaning even though its technically client side, all lobby members must have the same mods in order for them to function. Else they will just be ignored.

I do actually have the Necron lord audio files. However they are very specific to the in game situations and are mostly single big speeches . So making voice lines which fit the in game situations might not be very easy. There are 57 adviser voice lines which must be provided for. I could cut up some of the Necron lord audio to fit all 57 conditions. However there are i think 4 lords, meaning about 228 voice lines id have to make, which would take some time.
