Gauranlen Trees are such an under-utilized aspect of Rimworld. I just wish there was more (beyond Vanilla Expanded, Dryads) that rebalanced and improved the annoying aspects of this style of gameplay.
no matter what i do the dryads never emerge from the cocoon. ive tried moving the tree, disconnecting, reconecting, changing cast, changing pawn, manually destroying the cocoon. nothing works. just says stuck on "emerging in 0 seconds"

Tried to do the tree connection ritual. Started getting repeating red errors with this mod listed as the most likely cause.

In many colony, you only got an handful of colonist, and more tree than colonist.
Not been able to connect to multiple tree is...
This slightly make me want to unsubcribe to be honnest.
Allowing Gauranlen tree pruning to recharge a bit of psy focus.
I got a mod that normally do that, but as expected, it's not compatible.
Anyway, a good mod ^^
(Or was that a patch?)

Compatibility Warning
Incompatible with existing connections!
You need to get rid of all your connections and dryads (either cut all connected trees or kill all connected pawns and dryads) before installing this mod on existing save. If no connections exist upon installing - it's all good
Before installing i killed all immature dryads and butchered them. However the tree still says 2/4 dryads but none are alive. The new ones will spawn fine, but the two I killed didnt seem to make the number go down... Will it go down eventually or is the tree bugged?

The gauranlen pod event could be just a coincidence, (i.e. bad luck)
but i still didn't get this event, even after several years ingame.
When i disabled only this mod in another playtrough,
the event does seem to occur again, like it does in vanilla.
The second compatibility problem i found,
is that pawns no longer automatically prune their corrupted trees;
even if they have nothing else to do. (they wander around instead of pruning)
When i disabled this mod, they started pruning on their own again.
For now, i am using another mod that only doubles pruning speed,
and all these problems are no longer there. So i'm sorry to say,
that these compatibility problems are most likely caused by this mod.
Gauranlen pods event is untouched. Seed mechanic is same.
I think he meant the ocular trees in the alpha animals mod,
which is just like the gauranlen tree, it uses the same mechanics.
And by the way, i have tested this mod along with alpha animals,
it all seems to work with those ocular trees,
i am still doing some more tests though. ;)
PS does this mod also alter the event,
that spawns gauranlen pods on the map?
vanilla pruning speed is painful.
