On 2 conditions:

1, if you upload it to the workshop you must have a message in the description saying you are not the original creator, you have my permission, and a link to this workshop page.

2, you CANNOT upload the golddigger ship itself alone (eg. as a blueprint) as is or even with minor modifications.


That being said, og Golddigger is incredibly old and could use a major overhaul. If you do a major rebuild/overhaul of Golddigger and wish to upload THAT, again, I only require you follow rule 1 above for that as well.

Requesting permission to take this over recover the corrupted world file and update it.

Day 2 on the Nova Prospekt Mining Base. I did some scouting around for some later surveying, just to give me a good insight of the area. I found a large craft parked nearby away from the platform. At first I thought it was a flatbad cargo transport. Which is good because once operation resume we'll need some trucks to do some hauling. As I got closer I realized it was too large to be a mere truck. I was a mobile platform of some sort. When I looked it over I realize that the beacon and power source had both been damaged during a meteor shower ages ago and it was just left abandoned. Much of the guidance system circuitry and comms relays had been yanked undoubtedly to fix someother craft. Many of the crafts have have fallen to some neglect over the years as funds started drying up for the previous company. I'll need this platform for much of the repair that I will soon have to do.

@laserraygun nice. i like. im wanting to update this world with my salvage variant of Golddigger, but im having trouble fitting in a second pad. that and these updates come out too fast for me to keep this updated. not that im complaining tho.

After my recent graduation from the academy I signed on with a private mining company and got my first assignment to mining platform in an isolated reach of the galaxy. My company just purchased the remnants of the operation from another company who has gone bankrupt and it looks like my company made a juicy deal. Upon arrival I found everything to be in working order and all of the power to be on. It seems that the last crew left when the paychecks stopped. My orders are to arrive alone before the advance party. Inspect the platform and equipment for resumption of mining operation. Develop the maintenance and construction facilities. Ready the platform for a new line of business of salvage and reclamation.

but i liked the whole "before combines will invade". made me chuckle.

I understand your reasoning, but there are two reasons why i chose those names. 1. to pay homage to some of my favorite games, and 2. because no-one could pronounce their real names. if you can properly pronounce these names, then i'll switch them. Golddigger = T'rana'el, Prospekt = Me'er'talnek, The Hawk = Va'aer'tra.

make a youtube vid with you properly pronouncing those names, or skype me, and i'll switch them.

Really? Be creative if it comes to names. Don't copy hl2 names before combines will invade!

Most of it is, the transport and station need to be upgraded.
