"Item has minor flexes to avoid clipping, but expression remains...stony-faced. This is because (A) its a statue and (B) the alternative style wouldn't be able to have proper expressions due to the amount of the detail budget that has to be used for parts other than the face."
Short version: technically yes it does, but for style and practical reasons it doesn't have proper expression flexes.
