Do we have a kick hungary out of the Eu? A hungarian asking that.
I don't like the Orban Empire.

Spensky  [author] 11 Dec, 2017 @ 11:47am
Need to get around to this mod again as there is alot wrong with it and it is badly out of date, will do so when my Christmas holiday begins in a few weeks. Unforchantely there is no way for the change to detect if your country is an EU country, so simply disable the mod if you are playing as the US, Canda or Australia
Taxman Felix 10 Dec, 2017 @ 12:22pm
I like the mod but can you modify it a bit so countries like the US/Canada/Australia don't begin the game inside the EU? Cheers!
MetalCrüe 26 Oct, 2017 @ 9:37am
Mod doesn't seem to work anymore.
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 7 Oct, 2017 @ 10:55pm
So no EU superstate? :(
Terraloper 30 Jun, 2017 @ 10:28am
I absolutely love it. A lot of fun EU policies to play with. Great job :steamhappy: The only thing I would change is lower the amount of political capital needed for policies. And add a few screenshots to this page ;)

BREXIT MOD?

Screenshots needed
Spensky  [author] 28 Feb, 2016 @ 1:46pm
I've not worked on this mod for so long! xD It adds more foriegn policy options. :) Please only enable it if your playing a country that is in the EU, or a country that is capable of joining (for example a European country, like Norway) and then on your first turn change the slider to outside the EU if your playing 1 of them, and then if you want to join at some point move it back. :)
RickCall12 28 Feb, 2016 @ 10:17am
If this is still being developed, I'd like to see more screenshots and what exactly this mod does. Sure it's all about the EU, but what does that mean exactly?

Its to add possibilities to countries in the EU. Please only leave it enabled if you are playing an EU country.
Kongan 14 Jul, 2015 @ 4:50am
it is to play only like EU or only to add more possibilities to countries in EU
Spensky  [author] 18 May, 2015 @ 9:24am
Thanks for the feedback! I will probably update this mod next time I get back into the game
Soixante 17 May, 2015 @ 2:29pm
Great mod! My only recommendation would be to have the single bar of E.U. membership replaced with an incremental interface.

Asell as the European Exchange Rate Mechanism for individual countries.
sdbsjb 23 Dec, 2014 @ 11:04am
You should definetly add TTIP and if you do make a EU country then there should be a Transcaspian Pipeline policy.
Spensky  [author] 9 Oct, 2014 @ 12:03pm
Thank you that is atchly a really good idea! However they are not hte head of state for the EU, the EU is not a country but its sitll a good idea thank you! I will probably add that when I eventually get round to making an update.
jrodge12 9 Oct, 2014 @ 11:36am
To Lord_Vile1st:
What if you made the EU as a country to play as and have permenant policies such as the Euro, the Schengen Area, political representation of member states, and expansion (both internal and external)
<Examples for the Idea>
The Euro:
- Premitted to use or not to use
- Most important members are required to use
- All members are required to use
Outermost Regions & Overseas territories:
- Forbidden for them to enter the EU
- Right to join the EU
- Required to join the EU
The Schengen Area:
Allowed to use or not to use
Required for all land-based EU members
Required for all EU members to use
Basically the idea for suggestions would be for being the "President of the European Council"
(whom Im assuming is the head of State for the EU; Im an American so forgive me if im wrong)
And make the EU either a loose confederation or a Strict Federation of states
Also just take note that this is only a response for "suggestions"---- I mean if this upsets you than i apoligize
Spensky  [author] 1 Oct, 2014 @ 10:02am
You can only use the NHS permantely unless you intend to live in the UK permantely, otherwise you have to of been in the UK for 12 months. If you don't live in the UK there are very strict requirements to claim benefits in the UK. Because of the varying figures on the effect this has I won't be adding that, but thank you for the suggestion. I am thinking I will add the Schengan Zone and maybe a few other things. Do you have any other suggestions?
sdbsjb 1 Oct, 2014 @ 9:53am
Since people from other countries register as citzens though dont live there they claim benefits or use the NHS
Spensky  [author] 1 Oct, 2014 @ 9:52am
How would it increase the ammount of people claiming benefits?
sdbsjb 1 Oct, 2014 @ 9:30am
It should increase the amount of people claiming benefits
Spensky  [author] 1 Oct, 2014 @ 7:46am
That is not true at all jrodge, it reduces productivity through the laws it passes. Not alot but some. I am thinking I will update this mod soon does anyone have any ideas?
jrodge12 30 Sep, 2014 @ 8:45am
To Thorite "how does the EU reduce productivity". More than likley the "productivity" is the productivity of the national population in question; The EU allows the free movement of people, capital, goods, and services, thus the productivity of the national population is lowered because the EU population in the country has jobs versus the nation's pop.; This is only my theory though
Thorite 22 Jun, 2014 @ 12:15pm
Can someone explain to me how the European Union would reduce productivity!?
sdbsjb 15 Jun, 2014 @ 7:21am
You could add the Schengan area that boosts tourism and GDP plus a little immigration
Spensky  [author] 25 May, 2014 @ 2:38am
Sorry I have been very busy over this weekend and Friday, hopefully I can go back to updating this mod and adding austerity measures soon.
sdbsjb 25 May, 2014 @ 1:56am
What exactly do you need to get the Austerity Measures thing
JNR 24 May, 2014 @ 3:47pm
1. It's a political game, most players will have their political opinions and any mod will provide a setting to debate about it... There is no point in even starting to think this might be the right place to express any of them, there are better places to do.
2. I came here because I thought you could play the EU administration with this mod, but stayed for the good idea nevertheless :) Foreign policy in general is very simple in the game and is mostly considered to be out of a country's influence.
I don't know if the game allows to simulate the EU by standard means. Maybe it would be a tocal conversion in which only EU members can be played, as a lot of new variables would havbe to be added and EU institutions would all affect almost each policy in some way... anyway, keep up the good work!
blueshark 24 May, 2014 @ 11:19am
all we need to do is add the commenwelth of independent states
sdbsjb 21 May, 2014 @ 11:04am
It's not that easy u have to be prepared to argue for both sides
sdbsjb 21 May, 2014 @ 11:00am
Great New Ideas
Spensky  [author] 21 May, 2014 @ 8:13am
No, becaue in order for them to take the loans they have to agree to spending cuts.
bulletbill56 21 May, 2014 @ 7:56am
If only it were that simple in real life Greece would be doing fine.
Spensky  [author] 21 May, 2014 @ 7:18am
I am gonna make it so for the austerity if your GDP is super bad u get an income out of it, this is so if you play as a really poor country from a mod like greece you would get something out of it.
rileyxcx 20 May, 2014 @ 3:01pm
Thanks for fixing the crashing. Works perfectly now. :steggy:
bulletbill56 20 May, 2014 @ 2:07pm
Well that's easy, leave the EU.
sdbsjb 20 May, 2014 @ 1:06pm
