@pyromaniac7777 Excellent work creating your own mod :steamthumbsup:. Not too difficult eh? I'd recommend unsubscribing to this mod while you're using your version of it. As for the load order, I would say put it near the bottom (at least after the Heroes of Legends mods). Hope it works out well!

@pyromaniac777 You have full permission to make compatibility mods from my mods to whichever mods you'd like. There are some helpful guides posted in the "Skirata's Mod Index" guide near the bottom that you could follow if you'd like. Luckily modding this game isn't too complicated so I'm sure you'll be able to handle it.

I'd recommend using this mod (Inventory for All Units (3 Slots)) as a base and then add in the Heroes of Legends units. It's basically just copying, renaming, and moving around some files. Send me a message if you're having trouble and I might be able to help you out.

Love your mods mate! Game gets so much more fun and interesting with them. Wish it was compatible with Iron hands as well.

It's an extremely temporary fix, because the moment you select the unit again the UI elements are back to where they normally would be, which makes it much less clunky and much more annoying unless there's a way to save those UI changes the first time done.

@Cursed Hawkins It might give them a cargo slot, not sure. Anyways someone brought up earlier that you can now move around some of the UI elements, so in your case that's a temporary fix. Best I can offer, sorry!

Unless CCO undocumented gives them a single cargo slot then no I'm not using a mod that gives them any cargo slots.

@Cursed Hawkins Just checked the base game, and Landspeeders for the Space Marines don't have any cargo slots. Are you by chance using a mod that gives them the ability to transport units? Or is my game bugged?

So, there seems to be a conflict with the Space Marine landspeeders, it counts as a mini-transport so it ends up having both the item overlay and the cargo overlay.

@Hex: Welsh Thanks again for the mod usage information. Yeah all the Inventory For All Units mods are identical except for the number of inventory slots they provide, so there must be some compatibility issue that will hopefully be resolved when the mods all get updated.

Yeah I disabled 3 to try 6 and it booted and seems to work but thought I'd let you know
I'm only using 4 other mods
Less research x6 (changes faction building research output doubt its this)

@Hex: Welsh Thank you for sending the crash report, that helps a lot. It's strange it's crashing though, as this mod doesn't affect hero units (since they already have inventories). I just tested this mod again and it seems to be working.

When is the game crashing? On startup? Or when you load into a saved match? Also, what other mods are you using if you don't mind me asking?

@Reece unfortunately there isn't a way to to tie anything to unit experience levels as of yet (as far as I know). I wanted to have units grow in group size based on levels, but I had to settle for increasing group sizes based off of upgrades. The only thing we can do right now is check for specific upgrades in the faction/race of the unit we're modding.

Forgot to mention that Warp Talons and Wyrdvane psykers are also capable of teleportation, the latter can have access to the gate of infinity ability, the same as the warlocks.

Warp talons can enter in and out of the warp (their claws can slice between dimensions) and strike where they're least expected.

Remember to take your time, a rushed product is a bad product.

Thank you very much for the list of units. I'm still new to the 40k verse, so the info is much appreciated. I agree with your assessment of the hero units; it would be redundant for them to have teleportation. As for the 3 normal units, I think I could whip you up something in the future . . .

@Skirata Oh i should have kept my big mouth shut, it was not my intention to spoil the surprise. Glad to hear you're continuing development on other ideas, i'm excited to try them all out. Now for all the units, not that many if we go by the lore.

SM: Terminators
CSM: Obliterators
Orks: Big Mek, potentially normal meks.

Eldar already have their webway travel mechanic and warlocks (gate of infinity).

Necrons have their dimensional corridor ability, which allows all infantry and heroes to teleport to cities or monoliths.

IG and Ta'u canonically have no units that can personally teleport with the sole possible exception of the Primaris Psyker.

Tyranids have no need for it since they can make underground tunnels.

I could list the heroes too, but considering they can get the dimensional key in the vanilla game, it would just make that item redundant for them, unless you give the personal teleports a reduced range.

As for the level increases, you ruined the surprise! I'm working on 4 more mods that modify unit data (2 of those mods are related to max unit levels/experience rates). I've also got some ideas for some "game modes" I'm attempting to implement. It's not easy given our restrictions of only being able to modify the XML files, but I'm grateful we have that option at least.

Good ideas Khoran Gutsplitter, and it's good to hear from you again.

I thought about making a mod just for allowing certain units to teleport, but I ended up compromising with the idea for generic unit inventories and the Dimensional Key item. My reasoning is that I'm trying to keep the mods wide in scope, and applicable to all the factions/races in the game, keeping it somewhat "balanced" so as to not alienate any faction/race fan-base. I've got some other unreleased mods that I use that do similar things, as well as some other interesting abilities I cooked up for specific units, so it is indeed possible. Who knows, maybe someday I'll get to it, just got a bunch of other mods in the pipeline. Speaking of which . . .

Here's a few mod ideas I've cooked up for you, would be cool if you could consider doing them.

*Teleport ability for terminators, obliterators, and possibly other units that canonically have the ability to teleport. For powerful units like the two i mentioned it could be a tier 9 or 10 research.
*Level Increase (normal unit version): Increases the level/experience cap from 10 to 15, could also add alternative versions like 20 or 30.
*Level Increase (hero unit version): Self-explanatory, same as the one above, but for heroes.
