Please check the basic information tab
There is infomation such as cost, nutrition, value etc
It is similar the existing packaged survival meal information.

Colonists have to be assigned the food types available in the caravan for any food to be counted in 'days of food.' If this mod was added mid-game, you have to edit the allowed meal types under "Assign" tab to allow fine/lavish survival meals.

Since it is the same as food, i think taht vanilla survival meal should have the same problem

Well, I dunno what's going on with mine then. Had a caravan drop pod'd out to an encounter map and the alerts said that I hod no food despite having a fair number of Fine Survival Meals on the pawn directly. (Thinking on it now, that might have been my problem. It simply wasn't in storage...)

It is the same as the actual survival meal, so it should provide 0.9 or 1.0 calorie

i tested it and there was no problem

Rimworld isn't counting Fine Survival Meals as food for Days of Food, both in drop pods, caravans, and on the map itself. Might also be having the same issue with Lavish Survival Meals, haven't been using those so I don't know.
