will this mod be updated?

actually deco working fine in 1.3 if you install this mod's dll to patch him

so wondering if you could updated the dll again and deco should be alive again in 1.4

Great mod and a much needed revival, but unfortunately the trash can takes up too much of the tick time (up to 50% even post-restart, after disabling the trash can).

Something is wrong with the trashcan. I never built one, nor even clicked on it, I don't even know where it is yet according to Dubs Performance Analyzer it is accounting for 23.2% of the Harmony Patches CPU updates and before I auto sorted the list it was around 55%.

Yeah, this is causing some odd issues. Getting System.MissingMethodException: Verse.Room constantly on various pawns, both animals and colonists. Going through Visual Exceptions and turning off Harmony patches for the mods listed under each of them, they stopped when I got to Gloomy Deco.

For some reason, there seems to be a pretty weird conflict with Dubs Analyzer Tool, but only in a specific way. If you have the Trash Can down, as well as the Mailbox and Fishing Boats toggled with the animation on, it'll spam you with nothing but red in the debug log when you open Harmony Patches. Turning off the Trashcan, Fishing Boat Animation, and the other option (Name escapes me now) off, and then using Cherry Picker to turn off the Trashcan and Mailbox Def seems to work.

If you want I can try to replicate the steps and provide a hugslib log for you to look at, but those were the simple steps I did to replicate it.

@Taemaly I'm not sure why that is. Try unsubscribing and resubscribing and verifying the game cache.

No I didnt modify, I tried with Gloomy deco without Better loading, only harmony and it doesnt give the error but with better loading does. Weird its only happening to me . But Thank you for looking into it

@Taemaly I've looked into it, and I can't say where the error comes from.
In the Better Loading snippet, this is actually a problem with something in Gloomy Deco. The code cannot find the Trashcan, so it makes an error. Is it possible that you modified the Gloomy Deco files?
As for the Rim73 error, the issue is that because of the previous error. The mod didn't load correctly, so you still have the old Gloomy Deco code.

It's my fault for misinterpreting what my code would do. It should have kept running normally even if it didn't find the trashcan. I'll fix this in the next update shortly, but from my own testing, this does not normally happen with BetterLoading.

So I'm having a really strange issue with this mod. With both Gloomy Deco and this mod installed, whether the bin and boat are enabled or not, I still get the butcher/slaughter/unable to finish-off/no mining yield bugs. Here's the weird part, if I deactivate/uninstall/unsubscribe from the mod, I get a stack overflow error then a CTD when loading an old map or creating a new one. This also happens if I try to load into an existing save with the bin and boat disabled but the mod itself still active. Help, please?

Using this with BetterLoading causes a slaughter loop, and butcher loop. Pawns won't complete either task. Pawns assigned to Hunt also won't finish off downed animals. Here's the log:

I've only got Harmony, BetterLoading, Core, Royalty, Ideology, HugsLib, Gloomy Deco, Gloomy Deco PCP enabled and in that order.

Great news about the trash can :D

VGP Garden Gourmet adds a grindstone (or quern) for grinding flour, i think some other food mods also have their versions. i would leave this vague for yourself should inspiration take you :)

Dubs hygiene would be a nice match for the washing line :D

yes the Scarecrow could have uses from other mods such as this VE :D

@Bazalisk My mod fixes trash can code altogether, but if you prefer it disabled, then you can. You can fix the butchering problem by running this normally, or by disabling it. There's two fixes in that sense.
Thanks for the suggestions. Are you suggesting compatibility for a mod that adds flour? I don't think I'm the one to ask for an in-depth bread system unfortunately.
Washing lines sounds like you want me to add Dubs Bad Hygiene support, right?
I would probably add Vanilla Expanded scarecrow functionality to the Gloomy scarecrow, but maybe decoy isn't a bad idea, too.

also, as to added features. Add the ability to connect hoppers to the windmills and have them function as automated querns :)

Washing Lines could be used as part of a clothing wash cycle too, to take the taint off of them :)

and scarecrows could act as decoys during manhunter packs, possibly buying colonists time to get behind gates and doors.

so just so we are clear, you are saying that your patch allows us to disable the trash cans, there for removing the Filth Maker problem and allowing the continuation of Butchering, yes?

@sabia_j You should be able disable all of the garbage bin code in the mod settings and still use the other features. Are you running this mod after Gloomy Deco?

Denneisk , i was reading the comments from the original mod and apparantly it is a problem in the mod itself. It has something to do with the bin and garbage collection ticks or something like that?

No errors, everything up to the butchering itself works just fine. My pawn will stand there for a sec and continue to do something else on the schedule. After reading more about it on the page of the original mod this is not something your patch covers and should be adressed in the mod itself i guess. Other people already mentioned this problem over there. So ill wait. Too bad, i love to see the mill and the clothes line. Miss those things a lot! :_)

@sabia_j Can you explain further? Do you get the bills tab? Do colonists walk to the butcher table?
This mod doesn't change anything with butchering. Are you using a modded butcher table?
Also, are there any errors in the log?
