Actually it does still work my retarded ass just didn't notice that after every map all the workshop addons you installed at one point re-check themselves to being on so I had to go and delete the ones that didn't allow this to work, same thing for the other ones thanks for responding for something this damn old

@Kaburan, this mod was made in 2014, the game has undergone MANY updates since I made this. It is more than likely no longer working due to an update breaking the game. Sorry, I do not have the time to keep it updated any longer.

So how is there nothing wrong when it just doesn't change the og light? Had it on for a game or 2 and it never worked

@cK5rEm.. the main point of this mod was achieved. Nothing else can further this. Its only purpose is to make it bright.

it doesn't have the effect like the ordenery one... if you could add it then that would be nice

im not sure why it did this but it download another flashlight addons twice even though im unsubscribed to it and another flashlight mod i had unsubscribed as well so i had 4 flashligh mods that were active i jsut deactivated them in extras and now its works thanks

you running the proper version of directx? possibly another addon is causing issues with this one when ran together.

The fact that the device that is supposed to allow me to see clearly in the dark no longer completely obscures what I'm looking at with a blinding layer of pure whiteness is pretty damn nice.

I had my flashlight already made for Contagion when the game first came out but addons weren't compatible yet.

Didn't realize the workshop had come out as I haven't touched the game in a while.

Glad to see you reworked it though. I might upload mine for the hell of it. No need to remove this one though, lots of people already use it.

This was made by another dev guys which I reworked into Contagion. I do not EDIT or hack other peoples work without permission. Its a basic clean light from L4D and is available on the L4D Workshop. A contagion player requested it so I made it happen. I appreciate your feedback but there is already enough flashlights on the workshop and one called Enhanced Flashlight.. it is exactly what you want from me with the blurred edges and toned down a bit.. sorry If I come off as harsh just seems no one can read the description above.

well maybe just tone it down like maybe just a little x3 then it would be pefect.. down long hallways it's just pefect, but in the bathrooms and at close range, i'm blinded by the reflection.. but that's just my imput ^^ thanks for listening

I could turn the brightness down on it and I have considered it however the purpose of this light was just as a request... Thanks for your input.. I love to see everyone who is giving feedback and giving some positive constructive critisism.

the only downside i've noticed of this flashlight, while playing the RPD map, is that since most of it is white, it is blinding and you can barely see a thing through it if it's not 10 ft away. otherwise i'd say this is quite viable, if only turning the brightness down just a tad xD

how can i activate this on escape maps? the basic flashlight sucks...

Quite a good replacement for the stock flashlight when you simply want to see things as if you had a spot light or something similar
