Hi,

I have subscribed to this map, I can find it in the workshop tab, but I cannot click on drive. I do have the London to Faversham high speed DLC. Anyone any suggestions? Many thanks

I'd change the Class 395 to an 801 for the Eurostar and ICE 3 for new Eurostar.

Hello Merlincat, Standard Scenario is called "Euro Tunnel Shuttle Wheel maintenance" but I couldn't see it with my laptop, don't know if it published properly. I did the same Scenario as a Quick Drive Scenario called Train Maintenance Euro Tunnel which did show on my laptop and drive ok. I find Quick Drive Scenarios show up in Build,Edit Scenario,Drive. Hope this helps, Cheers
Merlincat 30 May, 2014 @ 9:03am
so you did a standard scenario? What's it called?
Hermy  [author] 25 May, 2014 @ 1:41pm
Hello Gordon thanks for your comment. We are trying to fix the problem. I made a route Euro Tunnel UK France Terminals and a Standard Scenario - Euro Tunnel Shuttle Wheel maintenance. Both of these work on my computer tower, in fact I got a green tick for completeing the scenario. When publishing all was good but I cant recieve the subscription on my other computer (a lap top). Sometimes re-publishing fixes problems I will try that.

Hello, I seem to be having the same problem as others, I subscribed and it came into my collection but when i go to play it disappears, can you help.

Hello, I edited Euro Tunnel something about wheel lathe, I can't see it on my lap top either. What I said earlier Steam is unreliable. I had to reference Tutorials about Passengers and then set Markers for Platform and make a timetable, this scenario worked on my tower but didn't download to my lap top, don't know what went wrong.
Merlincat 25 May, 2014 @ 5:18am
Which scenario did you edit because on the other scenarios, it still doesn't work. Thanks for your help anyway.
Hermy  [author] 25 May, 2014 @ 3:01am
Hello Merlincat, I just finished editing another Scenario I included a final destination this time, also has some intermediate stops hope you like it, works well on my tower. Also had a bug one turnout needed re work was stuck the wrong way but I fully drove the scenario is ok now
Merlincat 25 May, 2014 @ 2:10am
I figured out the problem. I looked at the Drive UK to France quick drive scenario and tried to edit it. Somehow I wasn't able to do it but the only thing that was missing for us to be able to take control of the train is the final destination. You need to fill it in and then the trains will be drivable. Also, the Channel Tunnel uses TVM signalling like on HS1 so maybe I would recommend you to add it in. Also, the maximum speed limit inside the tunnel is 100 mph (160 km/h) due to safety reasons. Wouldn't it be so cool if the Train Simulator company would just make a Eurostar scenario? Then it would be very well detailed and we could drive all the way from London to Paris.

Ok Thanks. What do you mean? Did you do the standard scenario or not? Which one should I get cause I decided to get all your channel tunnel routes.

Hello, I'm learning all the time, had to delete the previous subscription to allow the updated route with Standard Scenerio. Hope it works on Steam it seems OK on my computer
Hermy  [author] 24 May, 2014 @ 4:52pm
Hello Merlincat, I tried to publish Standard Scenario but "cannot publish content". I don't know what went wrong, will try to research more. Regards Hermy
Hermy  [author] 24 May, 2014 @ 3:23pm
Hello Merlincat, thanks for your comments. I am new to TS ( only playing 6 months ) and will try to make Standard Scenarios also. I plan to add some scenery, there are road access ramps to the platforms to allow the cars to drive onto the trains. There is a new edition of the Tunnel named as Euro Tunnel which worked better on my lap top this might work for you. I find Steam is unreliable for Subscriptions I create them on my tower computer then test them on my lap top because my tower can't download subscriptions ( I tried to subscribe to other peoples routes and can't get any on my tower only on the lap top ). Regards Hermy

I found it actually. Will it be possible if you can make a standard scenario and not a quick drive one because with quick drive, it doesn't seem to work but with all the other scenarios I got on steam workshop, the only ones that work are the standard ones. Please make a standard scenario, I will really appreciate it. Also, the scenario around the destination areas are all bland, maybe you should add some scenery.

Hi, I have subscribbed to all your channel tunnel routes. They look great but I can't seem to find them when I go onto TS2014. Do you know why? Please help, thanks.

Nice!
Hermy  [author] 20 May, 2014 @ 6:34pm
Hi Miles, I just added marshaling yards to both Terminals useing photos as a guide, also raised some track to fit photos ( the terminals are not on flat ground like diagrams show )
Invader 20 May, 2014 @ 8:29am
Cool! Can't wait for the actual finish!
Hermy  [author] 19 May, 2014 @ 2:51pm
Thanks Miles, I'm refineing it every day and doing Google research on the Tunnel. I've got most of the track laid down to the diagrams and photos on web sites.

Looks great so far!
