Dude, I adore the fact that you made the reload with stripper clips. While it is true that the magazine of the G43 was detachable, towards the end of the war, the Germans used more stripper clips, and I always adore when games use that instead of magazines on the G43, so thank you for this mod and especially for the details my man!

Either this or your sound mod for it is making the game minimize and stop responding when a witch kills you and you shoot her with this gun at the same time. Doesn't happen every time, but it's common.

I disabled all other mods and restarted the game, verified game files as well. Kept only this gun and the sound mod for it. With these two mods disabled as well, the game never crashed anymore.

Tested on Dark Carnival, map 3, Expert, playing as Coach.

I remember having this crash always only when witch killed me and i was shooting her with this gun.

I should also add that Rising Storm 2: Vietnam has a good Owen SMG model too, along with many other weapons still not on the Workshop in a good enough quality..

Hey there, I'm a fan of your gun mods, I think most of them have really pristine models (though I think the SVT-40 model does look a bit low-poly, but that is more of Sledgehammer's fault I guess) and animations and sounds, especially this G41, your Lee-Enfield, and PPS-43, all of which I am using right now.

Today I just remembered that the Owen Gun exists and looks kind of wacky and cool. There is one mod of it on the Workshop, but it does seem a bit low-quality...

With that said, I was wondering if I could suggest the Owen Gun as a future mod? Day of Infamy does have a pretty good model of the gun (though IMFDB says it might be inaccurate).

Awesome Mod!

However, a minor gripe about this would be the image on the scope. It sometimes randomly transitions to dark/black when moving.

Maybe you can make it look better similar to how the image on the scope works in Lt. Rocky's M1C Garand mod. The image on the scope looks really nice on that mod and it's kinda cool how it represents the current image that you are seeing at the moment.

In my first comment, I think it's based on recent releases this week (Lee Enfield, Reichsrevolver and G41), with Reichsrevolver from CoD WW2 and Lee Enfield and G41 from Day of Infamy (with some Post Scriptum sounds) and Post Scriptum respectively. I would like to see more weapons like these, not just from CoD WW2, but other WW2 FPS games.

Thanks! I think it is possible yes, but I don't know if it's worth making a version for military sniper slot because of the way third-person animation works. The third-person animation used in the Hunting Rifle is more appropriate for the G41. Anyway thanks for the suggestion.

At the beginning I also thought that the G41 magazine was detachable because of the similarity with the G43, but it is not. The real G41 uses stripper clips to reload the fixed magazine.
