I love the mod and its extension ! I especially like said requirements, like the National College for example, I wish more of the game could have that kind of requirement.

Love these, and missed this mechanic! All I'd add is maybe Ironworks could emit CO2. Maybe the same/a bit less than an oil plant?

@JackKickAss it doesn't increase yields on the tiles itself, instead it gives them straight to its city. So it probably works fine (unless the city doesn't receive these bonuses either).

Is it intentional that the Ironworks doesn't benefit from stratigic ressource in its reach that belong to another city. If yes i think to description should be clearer.

Not receiving the Ironworks ability to increase yields (production & science) on the strategic resources within four tiles (city owned). I do play with a few other mods but they shouldn't effect this ability. @Albro could you look into it? (I think its a really cool ability the makes the user think of the placement of the wonder)

@Albro: Wouldn't it be nice if the ironworks building increase the extraction rate of coal and iron strategic resources in the whole empire?

On the topic of the Ironworks balance: I think the current version is totally fine for larger-scale games and more heavily modded games, but is probably a bit too restrictive for smaller, closer to pure vanilla, sparser resource games.

I'd probably suggest having an alternate version that's maybe balanced to give the same general bonus, but is maybe limited to only 1 or 2 tiles, and has softer build reqs, for people that don't like to play on "abundant, legendary start, couple dozen extra resource mods, ancient start, long-term games"

I don't see any issue with it's current design from the perspective of how I personally normally play Civ, even in vanilla, but I can definitely see how it would be an issue for some people, and borderline unusable for single-city civs/games.

The ironworks looks amazing but it's requirements aren't very realistic. Not only do you have to have a relatively high amount of improved strategic resources, but it's range is so short that it will barely have any yield to strategic resource deposits. This is all ontop of it having relatively minimal yields itself.
(Note: it is entirely possible that I just spawned in a very sparse part of the map and my experience may not reflect the majority of gameplay)
Perhaps its requirements could be changed to needing 4 improved strategics, 6 tiles range, and yield 8 production? It seems like it would have so much potential to become part of the industrial heart of any empire. Also, any thoughts on giving it standard adjacency to Industrial Zones?

Thanks for the reply. I believe the note you're referring to is this: "In actuality, the bonus Production and Science are applied to the city yields themselves and will show up in the cities details panel under “Production/ Science from Modifiers” category." I checked City Yields, and the only "From Modifiers" in the city with Ironworks is a +1 culture from something. No production or science. I wish I could share a screenshot.

@Curt Bonuses are not applied directly to the strategic tile yields. The notes section for the Ironworks in the design doc linked in the description above explains it in a bit more detail.

Ironworks doesn't appear to be giving bonus to tiles with horses (even when improved).
Ironworks also doesn't appear in strategic view (some natl wonders do, some don't)

For some reason, with only this and the base mod enabled I can't load games. I get the "mod failed to load content" message. Base mod is fine by itself. Took a tedious amount of troubleshooting to identify this mod - do you know why this might be?

Hello! Loved the National Wonders mod and this expansion is just more of that good stuff, soo thank you. I do have a question regarding how the Ironworks bonus is supposed to work. I thought it would improve the yields with the strategic resources that followed the criteria but it seems to add the production and science bonus directly to the city. Thing is that it doesn't show that amount in the City Breakdow screen and furthermore, when I started switching some of the tiles with the strategic resources between cities with and without the Ironworks wonder (all tiles locked so it wouldn't change the yields) it seems that Horses are not being acounted for and Iron gave me +2.1 production and no science. This was just trying my one game, but still I think it would be nice to be able to see the bonus on the City Breakdown or even better, improve the tile yields directly.

I love the idea of National Wonders, this is a great addition.
I have a question and a suggestion, though.
1. Has the AI's been adjusted to be aware of these wonders? Will they build National Wonders (at least as eagerly as they would build World Wonders)?
2. Could you adjust the requirements for the Financial Center so that it can be built next to a Comm. district OR a Harbor district?

Hi, thank you for the nice mod.

But just abit confused on the Financial Centre:

" Provides adjacent Commercial Hub districts +100% district adjacency bonus."

Does it means the Wonder gives a standard adjacency bonus (+2 Gold) to adjacent Commercial Hub, or something else?
