For my Starship Troopers run, I have to wait on Exosuit Framework.
For my Crazy Evolutionist Borg colony, I have to wait on Mechtech, Reinforced Mechanoids 2 and maybe Mechanitor Adventures.
For my Heaven's Gate cult playthrough, all I really need is Adjustable Archonexus Quest Continued (they want to meet and merge with superior aliens, and I'll help them XD).

Hey everyone. I will be updating this hopefully in the next week or so. Appreciate your patience. From what I've seen, it still works with 1.6 as it wasn't changed that much on their end, but haven't heard too much feedback on full functionality. But I'll need to dive into it and find out the full extend in order to deploy!

The options show up in 1.6 at least, and doesn't break the game just having it loaded. Just doing some basic testing of mods I want so haven't fully tested it working as intended.

Would love to see this in 1.6, the quest chain is so tedious without this mod to tighten it up.

When I am on stage 2 of the quest, I find the monolith is not spawned at the beginning. Even a event that monolith is spawned happened, the level of monolith is as same as the one in stage 1.

I checked the vanilla game, when player jumped into next stage, the level of monolith should be reset. I am not sure it is related to adding your mod into a existed save file.

i never do this quest because it's so restrictive, let me take my colonists and knowledge and bonded animals, thats it, im not selling you my people and splitting marriages and shit like we started together we leave together but have the colony bro and everything in it, dumb quest, researchers just forget everything too, dumb.

Can you make archonexus map to 5 pieces instead of 3? Or how many pieces any player requests via the configuration menu?

@doge unfortunately no. The quest line is set up to make you reset the board essentially. I've tried believe me, but that part is hardcoded.

@kittenjedi Not without half cheating, half extensive rework. I have started though to make another mod that may be able to bypass all these issues of carrying over whatever you want. I wanted to more compliment this mod than revise it to do all this as it can be useful to transfer items long distance as well.

@Phoenix C64 I agree. I remember when they broke other mods too that allowed people to put items in crates and be able to bring those crates to the new settlement. They are very particular about that quest line...

a shame really. i really think they could allow some of the smaller mechs and just make them count as one of the 7 colonists you can carry over. same with the ghoul.

As for Mechanical Creatures, I've tried experimenting, grabbing them to allow, but Rimworld creators made it extremely hard for this mod to operate. They literally hard-coded things to block parts of this mod for this mod in particular. They are extremely adamant about restarting with as little as possible.

Hi, just subscribed to this and it isn’t working. After changing the people allowed from 5 to 6, then saving and restarting the whole game, it still only allows 5.

@dagoonite No it does not, but that is possibly achievable with some cheats and triggering the quest again. You would have to play with the developer mode cheat system to find out. I never checked to see if that was possible.

Dumb question, does this allow you to adjust how many steps there are to the quest? I want to do more than three colonies.

@QuarterTrout at least twice now and one with the trick. There's gates when it comes to this quest. Once you set the course right, whatever you did in the beginning to start it doesn't matter.

Has anyone beat the game using this mod? So far I followed the steps and I got the quest working as intended, though I'm kinda scared it'll bug out later down the line somehow once I start collecting maps haha. Thanks anyways though as it seems like it's working so far!

@Victor Ohhh ok, yes, now I understand. Right, this requires Ideology as it's for a quest line introduced in Ideology. I'll make that change. Thanks for mentioning it!

In the About.xml file you need to add the dependency on ludeon.rimworld.ideology, this is just so the game will flag this mod when Ideology is not active. You can also link Ideology as a required DLC here on this page through Steam.
