Report a translation problem
Now I see what you meant - I didn't look closely enough. I'll look into it and see if there's a workaround.

Open file called uigamelist.xml - you can use regular text editor, however I'd recommend using Notepad++ since it makes reading the file easier (syntax highlighting).
On the very beginning of the file starting with line 7 you'll find a section titled <!-- STEAM LIST FILTER: --> .
Right underneath you'll find a list of items enclosed with <listitem> tags.
Simply cut the line: <listitem>$$23984$$Sort: Game Type</listitem>
and paste it in front of the first item in the list.
That will make the game sort by game type by default.
I think GoldenAxe already asked this in a way, but would it be possible to change the default sorting from Oldest First to Game Type? Currently trying to modify the UI myself, but without any luck...

Each mod has its own folder bearing that mod's name.
This is not a mod problem. There is a game/workshop issue that affects certain installations, causing them to disable mods. There have been several reports of this in the forums. I'm sorry, but I do not have a definitive solution for you at this time. You can try unsubscribing, deleting the mod, and subscribing again.
The mod works correctly. Problem is on your end. Make sure that the mod is active and that u dont have any other UI mods that conflict. Try disabling & enabling the mod again and clicking "reload assets".
If that doesnt help, investigate if the mod is indeed in your /mods directory. Some people used to have all kinds of weird issues related to the workshop.
I can certainly look into it. Main issue is that I'm limited to whatever has been programmed in and w.e feature sets are available. I cant just add code to the executable and make it do all kinds of fancy things. But I can however, try to work with what's already there and see if these features are possible to implement :)
I could theoretically make the column names into transparent buttons or something like that and have it sort by w.e you clicked. I'll be experimenting with all kinds of UI stuff and let you guys know how it goes.
There would be no way to filter the games? That is not to show me such games scenarios, death or lightning, only I want as supremacy or conquest.
2LNC_GoldenAxe: There's a drop down on the bottom to choose your sorting.
It would have been great if they delayed 2 months, and gave us not only a less buggy experience, but a more user-friendly one with a few more *useful* features, instead of features nobody was asking for.
Sadly, this is the World we live in, the game industry is full of games being released half-finished for a cash-grab and this is no exception.
This is in no way verified, but my gut feeling is that the chat system (on the client side) was left completely as it was during original AoM days. They just implemented some kind of translation layer that presents data from Steam in a format as if it was from ESO. Minus some features like the friends list and such.
Of course this is just speculation and I could be completely wrong ;)
I was really hoping they would update the chat, so that it had some steam-integration, like right clicking names on the list for a link to add them on steam, or visit their profile e.t.c.
Instead, we got a downgraded to a chat that hardly works, has barely any rooms with no distinction between them, and is so small you can only see 5 lines of text.
Yes, that actually is one of the things I plan on doing in the future.
Now do you fancy bringing back the old chat? I like having it constantly there, but it would be nice to have the old dedicated chat tab as well, so you could see a full screen chat room, and all of the people in it much easier.
