any chance for option to make tofu protein but not meat? like eggs or milk, to use it in recipes that need protein but not meat specific so they be vegetarian.

I thoroughly tested for that prior to uploading the latest version and was not able to reproduce it.

Even after setting it to "count as vegetable" then restarting, my vegan pawns seems to still get the "Ate meat" debuff after consuming food containing tofu.

Please try unsubscribing and resubscribing. I'm not having any issues on my end. I've checked my version vs the copy I have downloaded from Steam and both work.

Same problem for me and my BF, was working fine yesterday, but connot enter the game (black screen) since today.

Well I'm gonna plant plenty of soy beans for the day it's ready to go.

Ugh. Weird that the XML was fine on my end. I know Steam has been having server issues, so maybe the upload got borked. Let me try again.

For some reason it caused a black screen and my game list to reset with just the DLCs. Wish I could keep the tofu, it saved some runs for me.

Cannot enter game either, there's a tag mismatch in TofuToggle.xml.

After the update, I cannot enter the game. The following are some related error logs.

Exception reading TofuToggle.xml as XML: System.Xml.XmlException: The 'Operation' start tag on line 17 position 6 does not match the end tag of 'caseTrue'. Line 34, position 6.

Thanks for the report. You're correct the settings no longer appear in the XML Extensions list. I'll work on a fix for this.

For whatever reason i cannot find the mod for the normal AND XML menu's and therefore can't make the tofu vegetarian (which was the whole reason why I got the mod since I needed a 'protein' for the vegan colonists for travel meals). It's not even a lack of options it just completely does not appear in any menus besides the mod add/remove menu.

The XML extension menu does not list "VFME - Simply Simple Tofu". Should the mods be ordered in a particular way ?

Vanilla Plants Expanded - More Plants adds a patch that allows for creation of soy milk with the VCE - S soybeans.

But it would seem the patch would only activate when VCE - S is installed. I was wondering if a similar patch could be made when both this mod and VPE - MP is active?

The <foodType> node in the Tofu ThingDef is always set to "Meat" no matter which setting you select in the menu. It seems like it is only changing the thingCategory.

- Updated description states that Vanilla Expanded Framework is required. Why? Because they gave us permission to implement their soybeans from Sushi, copied exactly, which rely on some custom code in the framework.

My game thinks this requires Vanilla Expanded Framework and Vanilla Cooking Expanded. Is that right? I don't want all the new meals and stuff from Vanilla Cooking Expanded.
