da biggest and da baddest orc finally makes his return to Total War: Warhammer III! Feel free to check out the new version of Grimgor Ironhide - Da Alpha Orc to give our favourite Greenskin the epic appearance he deserves!
Cheers
No one is tougher than Darth Vader, Sauron and Michael Shumacher. Exept Norris. But his hair is a functioning helmet
a new unit card/porthole/faction leader portrait
Officially a 10/10 mod now
@IroncladLion: Sorry for the late reply. I had other stuff to do and actually forgot a bit about your comment. But I checked it ingame and Gitsnik indeed looked a bit too thin compared to the rest of Grimgor. So, I made the edge a little bit thicker but not too much since the axe is known for its sharpness. :P
Even from the mod screenshots you can see how thin the whole head is. Ork weapons are 'evy, ya know? https://www.artstation.com/artwork/GXW3YB
This of course is me being extremely nit picky, I love the mod
Mod is 9/10, give Grimgore a meaty axe and easy 10/10.
@Seckyblanket: The major issue here would be the missing animations for an orc with a power claw.
@Zangetsu: It should be compatible but you need to test out the load order.
@Anticircus: It would be the best to ask in 'Da Modding Den' discord server for help. If it is your first 3D software it might be a bit complicated to get into it.
@cocodominator: Yes, I also thought about Gorfang. But actually I did not get any good ideas and to change his appereance would need a 'startposition edit' which can cause incompatibilities.
@Hannibal Magus: Yes, I am aware of this problem and actually rescaled his big tooth so that it would not clip into the helmet. But I am not skilled enough to change animations, sorry.
If you are interested in some constructive feedback from a completely unskilled person, the original model was designed without any helmet. As a result the movements of his lower jaw are very big, but it looks fine on the original bare head. To add a lot of armor to the lower jaw acts to exaggerate any movements of the lower jaw. The movements of the model's lower jaw then look unnatural, and the tusks on the lower jaw armor clip into the body of the model. I hope that makes sense.
