Report a translation problem
It emulates real electronic hearing protection by only making loud impulse noises (Gunfire, explosions) quiet. Some of the vanilla helmets have it in the newest ACE, if you want to try it.

IMPORTANT! This video does leave out a very important step. You HAVE to include the .bikey file as part of your mod. It is standard practice to place the .bikey into a folder named Keys,alongside the Addons folder in the mod's root directory.
The video shows you where to locate the .bikey file around the 6:20 mark.
