how does the halo jump work?
1: edit mission in 3d editor. Make a game logic entity and put setViewDistance 10000;
2: If you are hosting/admin put in console setViewDistance 10000; (Will have to be done everytime you respawn, get in vehicle, etc...
option 1 is the best :)
Beeing able to spot enemies and see stuff on the map the host/server difficulty has to be adjusted I think.
The other question is about the map, when my friends and I select to join different squads (so we can have our separate AI), we can't see any friendlies on the map, or spot things to each other. Again, is there a workaround to this?
However, for some reason I struggle with getting the map into 3D editor, I use PBO opener and extract mission.sqm into the mpmission folder but when I try to import it in editor nothing happens, it just asks me to import again. Google didn't help me that much and I tried the Notepad++ method of adding in a certain sentence on every Side " " line
I don't need answer just want to know if anyone else has same problem!
@Maniak: I have really no idea about Zeus, lot of people suggesting it but i simply don´t have any idea how it works because i never used it.
Can I suggest you to add Zeus capabilities for server admin and the mission would be even better. I make this suggestion because on my dedicated server we play your mission and Zeus official missions and last night we where thinking how it could be nice to have Zeus directly on Battlezone as it's the case on some invade and annexe servers.
