I hear you, Ive never really made a mod and can only imagine making something like this could be a pain. And yah me personally I wouldnt mind it closing all quest as someone who heavily mods the game and have like 20 different cheat market NPC so I can just play the build I want and rush to mid/endgame. But I do love the weapons and armor, Making a frost paladin with all the Ice armor so i just giga heal everywhere I walk is so fun.
The base mod got a huge update though
There are some problems adding it to earlier levels. One, I would have to remake all the map in the different levels. I actually created the levels in the empty spaces of the arx map. Other levels don't have as much room. Two, your characters would be so overpowered after a few rounds of shadow realm that the rest of the game would be easy.
I have to make all the shadow realm levels in the empty spaces of the level/map because if you leave a level/map it closes all the quests for that map.
I have thought about making a new mod with a shadow realm sort of portal in fort Joy. Except this one would be a one way portal. Rather than using empty spaces of the map it would take you to a brand new map. You would not be able to go back to the main campaign though, because like I said it would close all the quests and your save would be fucked.
EDIT:
oh wait, there's *one* guy, a mini Doctor in the corner... what? Why's he hiding in the far corner?
Speaking of which, if you have any other maps that make changes to the AI grid/map in Arx it could be an issue.
Also it needs to go after Unique Loot Drops in the load order.
but yeah, I'll save Shadow Realm content for last regardless
Arsenal6 : It kind of is yeah, added that to the description.
