And Halo 2 Anniversary uses the Halo Wars model from Blur's cutscene renders.
You do know the Halo 2 Anniversary Marines is literally the same model as what Blur used for the Halo Wars 2 cutscenes outside of H2A adding pouches on the chest right? Since this mod already has a pouch-less variation of the armor all that's missing to recreate the look is a face mask (Capnbubs has one that works works) and the visor which I imagine other Halo mod armors add.
Outside of that, the actual models used in the Halo Wars games could never work for Xcom 2 because the models are too small and would thus lose detail as an Xcom 2 armor piece.
