Point blank = 400 dmg and 25+ meters = 0 dmg. I'm sorry but I'm not so sure that's even worth shooting with that dmg drop-off.

...But you couldn't have asked for a worse weapon. I have really bad opinions on that gun and that combined with the weapon not being ported at all by anyone, chances of that happening is capable of going below zero.

i just always thought that always something was off with it, but i do understand your points

1. It does have an ejection port: the gun ejects the shells from the bottom where you load the gun.

2. You shouldn't really care about recoil in any sense. There is no point since the target is right in front of you close range.

3. True, the shotgun is literally useless 20 meters away(its maximum range in-game). Thats depicted in this gun where you also cant really harm someone that far away.

4. Refer to [2], recoil is nothing to care about.

5. That might be unnerving for some people, its also might be an issue for this gun as well.

6. It does if you can aim it properly. It's a shotgun for a reason.

problems i had with the gun in the game (cold war):

has no ejection port for the shells

stock upgrades dont affect recoil

becomes useless if enemy is 7 meters away

barrel upgrades dont affect recoil

always has a shell in tube

doesnt delete enemies at point blank

there are more problems, but i dont wanna waste any more time

ah, the one shotgun that somehow becomes a water hose when the enemy is 7 meters away from the user of the pump action shotgun
