@Canadian_67 (And anyone else) if you get a chance to play the Long Dark, I do recommend it. I didn't think it was my sort of game, a bit like RL, but I've put a lot of hours into both, and enjoyed every minute.
After running trains on my map I think you'd recognised the locations I've tried to recreate. I recommend to play survival mode and start on pilgrim (easy) and see how many days you can last. It's more fun than it sounds and the games art style is very similar to RL, hence why I just HAD to build this layout. Enjoy :)
This is still my favorite layout in the game by far, and I love that you keep making it even better :D
I did create a summer version. Click on my workshop. It's "Summer on Great Bear Island"
Yes, I will wire the poles in my next update as I have just discovered the wire tool after years of modelling in this game!
My next update will include the new contamination zone from TLD.
Uh...
Will you wire up the poles?
I've been focusing my attention on my Wellington layout which I have just released That map is so different from this one as it's very urban, not finished yet but 1.0 is out.
I know what you mean about High Falls, I liked that too. Remember you can revert to the previous versions if you fancy playing them, see change notes top right of this screen.
I'll miss High Falls, but the new sections are awesome! Are you planning to add any more detail around the logging camp area?
This adds the new extension of the line added in "The Long Dark" the new Far Range Branch Line. This replaces my former creation of the "High Falls" Station.
I have also made an extension at the other end to a new logging camp.
I also added signals for some AI trains, beware as these only almost work perfectly!
Enjoy.
Getting used to the darker bridges might take a minute though!
So hope people have fun and like the updates.
I've always wondered if CN or CP Rail would've ran through great bear
