for optimal use does the radar have to be in front or especially close to the hud (dot overlay)?
or would you just have to adjust the "max yaw"? if thats for the angle of the radar rotation that the hud can display

The detection size will increase the size of the dot on your display.
The group factor is used to merge multiple detection close to each other (who might be a moving object)

It will display the first target of the radar on the HUD. That first target will change a lot

Hi, I'm attempting to make a rudimentary HMCS for my fighter, and was wondering, does this track targets on the HUD? Nice work on this either way, as always!

It happened to me too, but sometime it seam to work fine, I don't think the game would allow the script to be that slowly without creating a timeout error so I think it's a game bug. I need to investigate that.

Not sure if its a game update or you have updated it but im suddenly getting 10 or less physics fps when the radar is active. if i turn off scan pfs returns to 62. Was woking perfect earlier.

@AUTISMO it's possible to use other size instead of the small display (The radar scanning zone displayed above a map is bugged with display that are not square)

The option to render the map on both the small display and the HUD display would be great for if I want to project my map radar on a bigger screen.

The dev changed the radar again, if you are using large FOV, you may need to update the controller

@Borderline Autistic Not exactly, with forward mode for the HUD and if the setting are correct a dot will be printed between your view and the target

I resubbed and it kind of works, the setting are a bit different, i cannot change the hud between the 2 different modes, but it works now!

I updaded the script when the DLC came out (they change some angle from radian to turn), try to update the microcontroller.
If it doesn't fix it, send a link to the vehicle or a picture in "Bug Report", the current version is working for me so I may have already fixed it

I have, it just increases the spin speed, and doesn't do much for the Microcontroller

When the radar is in circle mode, it doesn't show targets fast enough, It does a 360 about every 30 seconds.

I Really like this radar, but it seems that when the new DLC came out, i has became broken, the line on the screen slowly spins at a specific speed, doesn't matter what the setting are for anything.

I know (only if the target is in front of you lol), you can set the radar like you want. This is just an example.

it works way better if vertical and horizontal FOV are set to 1
