I've gotten every single backpack with a PRC-77 and still unable to open the ALiVE menu. Any ideas?

i just edited the mission and spaced them out on that same area of the tarmac. seems to work fine now. its like the z rotation doesnt kick in for a second or two when they spawn. sometimes theyll spawn at random angles and one's nose will be clip another's tail,

Yes the AI aircraft spawning is an issue, it's mainly down to Arma's game engine inconsistency however I'll have a look at it and see if there is an alternative method I might use to mitigate it.

excellent mission. makes you feel like youre really there. nothing out of place for the most part, everything works perfectly, acceptable lag given the circumstances. you're truly a master with these alive missions. you should make more.

there does seem to be one issue where when you get too close to the khe sanh combat base the f-4's spawning for the ai air commander will clip into each other/objects and explode.

other than that it seems flawless.

Yeah, I'm with you guys....The scenario is excellent, the logistics & fire support system amazing...you get to a point where you take over all the FSBs on the hills just messing around, and it's a rare occasion where I have longer than 1 hr to mess w/ Arma & gaming in general, so back to the beginning you go when you restart...also not being a creator/editor, some of this language goes beyond me...if you guys find any info about getting the SP persistence save to work, post it up! Cheers!

As far as I can tell the answer is no. I've spent a bunch of time messing around with various persistence settings in the ALiVE demo missions and the best I've managed is that I'll restart where I was but my AI squad restarts wherever they start the mission on first run. I then have to wait for them to get to me or I'm too far away and they can't find me.

There's talk of AI squad persistence via some scripts by Incontentia. Uses INIDB2. Can't get it to work. I'm not really a mission creator/scripter though.

There's very little info about this in the ALiVE wiki or anywhere else on the interwebs it seems, but it's stopping me from getting into what seems to be a great system.

Is there a Way of saving Progress? These big Scenarios dont worth it when you play hours just for starting again from scratch at the next day..

At the risk of sounding idiotic...is there no way to save progress when playing SP w/ AI, in order to keep the scenario going? Thx!
