If someone wants to continue the development of this mod, they have my full permission to do so. I do not have time to work on RimWorld mods anymore.

@EdoTensei: This and the mod it depends on have been abandoned. If you want to play in 1.4, consider switching to Mechanical Humanlikes + SkyMind

Hi Ben! Nice work! But i saw some weird moments. Civil Android will randomly take a humanlike ideology items (bioconservatism and the like) :d2tidehunter:

This only works with SOS2 from steam (which is fine) but it doesnt work with the experimental version (which has a tonne of fixes in it). Specifically the androids skin counts as spacesuit patch doesnt work. Not an issue as supporting an offiste version would be silly, just a heads up as thisll probably break when that releases.

It throws an error in the log if you're not using SOS2.

Any chance we can get a way to actually fix the voice synthesizer, i have a T2 that has to have the crude one even though i can make T4 droids from scratch....seems wrong.

Loving the mod, but I have a request: is it possible to add a patch to fix the Android animals to break the game when using beds?

Hi, i have an issue where i uploaded my transhumanist (Ideology) mind from a T1 android into a 5000 y old T5 android and now this android demands age reversal in a biosculpter... Could You please add a patch for androids to not need any biosculpter options? I want to have my initial 6 supremacist humans surrounded with androids, but i don't like that the androids consider themselfs "human"

@Geronimo I think you may be talking about Androids Expanded, which is completely separate from Android Tiers (It confused me when I first saw them as well)

@Geronimo these robots you describe are from a different mod, Android Tiers only adds 6 types of human like androids (the T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 and the big mechs) and like 4 types of 'animal' androids. There are no drone like robots like what you're describing. If anything it sounds more like the other Androids mod, but the drones and droids for that mod have modifiable work priorities. So it sounds like these bots you're talking about are from an entirely different mod, like the misc robots one.

Im sorry I worded that poorly. I was referring to the crafting, building, kitchen, garden, etc bots. They will fight fires if a fire is in the home zone. So they are scanning for fires constantly which is a big performance killer. There is also no way to turn this off with any of the android tier mods.

This mod does or can adjust the various small bots for android tiers right?

No Ben. I mean the game slows down to a crawl the moment they're put in an animal sleeping spot. I just use dev node to add hesiffe to them and delete my prosthetics in my stockpile to simulate performing the surgery. If I try to actually modify any robot animal the game flips out.

@Geronimo Firefighter drone is for the androids mod , this patch is for android tiers mod
either you have that or the drones from Project Rim factory different mod

@Rusty Widget I've fixed the crude voice synthesizer's recipe not showing up and added advanced and archotech voice synths.

@イムカ I've added an option to make T1 and T2 androids use their faction's primary ideoligion. If this option is enabled, they can't lose certainty and don't count as believers when the game checks to see whether the primary ideoligion should change.

@Agraza you mean the "surgery failed" message? Android surgeries use the Crafting skill rather than the Medical skill.

The voice synthesizer is called a heatsink and cannot be installed. Also would be nice to have an advanced one available so I don't have to downgrade my injured higher-tier androids.

Would it be posible to add an option to do the reverse and instead allow T1 and T2 androids to have ideoligions? As it currently is you cant realy make use of that feature at all with the base starts because they start you with T2 which cant...

And even if you do start with a T3, its going to be a long time before you get other T3's to share your beliefs with....

Besides its not like you cant program something with barely any sapience to repeat propaganda and follow your religious codes...

flying bots what?

ben, maybe this is too much for patches, but something horrible happens to my game anytime i try to use medical on android tiers animals. prevents giving them prosthetics and repairing their damage. i've said as much on the main mod. can you fix it?

Could you add a toggle on/off for flying bots scanning for fires? Since we cannot change their priorities list they can quickly become a performance hog when they are all constantly scanning for fires in the zone.

I often turn off fire watch for my colonists until there is a fire because it is a large resource drain. More so with many pawns scanning and large item inventories gained after a few years.

Thank you for your patches, I use most of them and wouldn't play without!

Is it at all possible to make the gynoids dependency optional? I personally would like the tweaks without having to install the gendered bots.

Using the Diseases+ mod in a base a few weeks ago, I had androids get diseases but by the time I checked the hedifs, there was nothing there If that's what you're talking about. Idk if that helps

Could you add a patch for the bots to go through doors? Its strange how sentient bots are unable to go through doors or automated doors at all. Like the building, ER, craft, etc bots.

I have seen the notice twice from eating raw honey (from Vanilla factions expanded vikings) and both times there was nothing listed as illness or needing treatment. They have not died either so it seems to have disappeared immediately?

Yes and cause of this null it ticks like hell, up to 250 ms. Need to be fixed or made via transpiler

I'm confused about what the Android Tiers patch to HediffMaker does

It looks like it's missing a return if the pawn is null and it short-circuits if the def is null (which I'd assume just sends the null reference exception further down the chain) but other than that it's identical to the one RimWorld uses.

@Ogam Gynoids should work fine with CE if Android Tiers does because it's just an XML mod.

This mod *might* work fine without Gynoids (the worst I could imagine happening is an error message at startup from the ThingDefs that Gynoids adds not being there for the XML patch this mod adds)

Can I use this patches without gynoids cause they Incompatible with CE?
I suggest to make a traspiler for HediffMaker method used by AT? Cause they just replacing vanilla one and it ticks like crazy
