Hi @-Curator-, Yes, that is possible. There is a function within the mod that enables the sleeping bag to be rolled up. You can simply fork this mod and add it to your own without the pick-up function.

Possible to get a separate repack of just the sleeping bags? Tents are causing an unusual error I see you've already covered, and the crash logs get awfully large after a bit of a play through

Feel free to add it to the mod. You even have the permission to repack it / rename it. But just a heads up, when I tried it during the creation of the mod it was really hard. You'll also need the ability to change the p3d file to fit a lockslot. TL;DR; I've tried, but too much work and unrealistic IMO.

Hey @Mayhem, I have checked out the Bed-Respawns mod and it seems to be outdated. If the mod-owner would like to implement these sleeping bags they can simply find all the data needed in the .XML file included in the mod. I've also given anyone full permission to repack or modify the data.

Any chance of me putting you in touch with the author of bed-respawns so you guys can get the two mods working together and add respawning functionality to the sleeping bags? I've already spoken to him, the current mods his works with are old and have issues. He just need the models and permission to use them ultimately but if you want to get the two mods working together while still remaining completely separate that works too.

Hey @Zach, if you want the items to spawn you need to edit your types.xml. I've included a copy paste inside the mod (just a folder with the xml data) you can paste that inside your server's xml and you are good to go.

Those problems sound like moddeling problems. Unfortunately, I have very little knowledge of moddeling and these models have been made by someone else. (Including collision ect.)
There is not much I can do about that.
For the inventoryspace, that's just personal preference. There is an overwrite to remove all storage that can be found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2621367372
This mod can also be used to repack and to modify it to be 300 spaces instead of 400.

When I tried this out on Namalsk at least, havent tried other maps, I had issues with how both items are placed, the ground collision or something seems off. Like when I try and place a sleeping bag inside a tent, the sleeping bag is 1/2 in the ground. Also, I could stand up in the tent, and it would let me be part way outside the tent so that I could see outside. And...imo 400 slot is a little high, should be 300. Thanks for making your mod public....

@sky, you should get able to code in the item name of the sleeping bag you want to the bed respawn mod config file.

I have not tried it for this mod so can't 100% confirm.

Yeah, i've seen like a mod where u can spawn in bags like (rust, etc) and i thought this is the one. But i found out that mod. Thanks for your quick response. U also did an amazing job with this mod.

Hello @Sky, I don't know what you mean exactly. Do you mean that once you place down the sleeping bag that your spawnpoint is set there aswell? (Like in Rust or Minecraft)

If so; No, your respawn will still be somewhere the server decided (found in de playerspawns.xml)

hey Ryno94200, Can you lock tents in real life? Would be pretty silly to add a feature to "lock" a nylon tent that someone could slice through with anything remotely sharp.

I have included a types.xml in the mod. You will have to add all the separate colors and states. (So SleepingBagBlackDeployed and SleepingBagBlackPacked ect.)
You can also just add the packed state, but then the lifetime of the items will be shared (and most likely disappear earlier).

Hi Frenchy, would you mind making a discussion topic which includes the link to the mod you are using and a bit more detail on what goes wrong? Then I can test it for myself to see if it's something with my mod or something with other mods.

I did include a little overwrite for placing because tent placing is kinda bugged. Will also try some testing without that overwrite (it wouldn't let me place and cancel instantly, but might be fixed with other things I did)

Anyways, please create a seperate thread so I can test it. And give updates on it.

Hi Kermit, fantastic job on the mod mate. Just had a tiny issue with it and BuildEverywhere, it seems to "overwrite" it and BuildEverywhere placement doesn't function anymore. Is that something on my end perhaps? Any tips on how to fix it?
