@Ray sorry for taking a while to reply, I didn't get notified of your comment and just saw it now. This mod basically makes the invisible body part mod pointless, it is designed to fulfill that function automatically.

Hiya, just wanted to ask how this interaction would go if I got this mod with a cosmetic mod that relied on Steam Workshop::[WOTC] Invisible Body Parts For All (v1.3). I noticed whenever I had these 2 mods used any soldiers that had their armor upgraded or changed would auto change to the cosmetic mod, which would be the halo cosmetic mod. I don't use Unrestricted Customisation or appearance manager at all, only clean soldier generation. It says in the description I can add support for modded armors which I'm hoping can fix my issue but I'm not too stressed about it, I cna go without using the invisible body parts mod and the halo mod if these mods are causing issues for me.
MrCloista  [author] 6 Aug, 2024 @ 4:15pm
@Gguy i've probably set them as bAnyArmor=true. you'll find this issue with literally every cosmetics mod that adds parts this way. thisis actually what Clean Full Body Armours was made to fix. if you equip the armour that has a full body template. then remove it, and re-equip it, all those things will be cleared to empty
Gguy 6 Aug, 2024 @ 2:04pm
@MrCloista Alright, so I found out what was causing those other body pieces from spawning on literally every (or almost every) armor type I had from Kevlar to Resistance Armor. It was ironically your "All Armour Avenger" mod.

I disabled one by one file, and that was in the end the culprit. It literally added the underarmor to everything, often causing clipping by itself.
Gguy 6 Aug, 2024 @ 1:26pm
@MrCloista My quest for the culprit continues then. Thank you for your time and the best of luck on future and current projects!
MrCloista  [author] 6 Aug, 2024 @ 1:24pm
@Gguy iirc i only added the empties for this mod.
Gguy 6 Aug, 2024 @ 12:51pm
@MrCloista I see. Btw, did you per chance add 2 of each body piece? Cause when I loaded your mod, I had two options appear under each category. One had your purple profile icon next to it and said Arms0 ect, and the other one didn't have any icon and said CFBA empty.
MrCloista  [author] 6 Aug, 2024 @ 12:38pm
@Gguy by default it doesn't for the civvy and advent, which is why it's covered in this mod. the holographic disguise is different though.
Gguy 6 Aug, 2024 @ 12:17pm
Why does the infiltration disguises mod even have an arm category? The original TLE armors didn't have that option.
MrCloista  [author] 13 May, 2024 @ 2:07am
I'll look at getting a localisation fix posted soon.

To follow-up on @AtomicDeathclaw's point; this also affects the EventListener_DIP script.

In the Content.ini:
TemplateName="RightArm" - should be - TemplateName="Empty_RightArm",

The missing "Empty_" needs to be added to RightArm_F, LeftArm, and LeftArm_F

And add missing "Empty_Legs" and "Empty_Legs_F" to the XComGame.int file.

(Maybe also a UIListener to put in Icon on a future update?)

I did run into a problem with the appearance manager where if we have a saved full-body it would remove everything including body cosmetics like gloves and their arms and legs.

This removes the arms, shoulders, legs and the like if I'm using a body type like Max's classic armor on the prototype TLE armor
AtomicDeathclaw 16 Aug, 2023 @ 4:45pm
I found a small issue, the left and right arms template names don't match with the localization file, and legs part is completely missing from the localization file
Zigg Price 29 Jun, 2023 @ 1:07am
A LOT of ini and localization edits. LoL. And no, not using UC, as I prefer the methods of Appearance Manager.
Shame, because I love the ideas behind this mod. I still run into issues with clipping. But using it basically undoes A LOT of work I had to do to get Civilian Disguises to be more compatible with a bunch of stuff. And it still isn't ideal. It's a great mod, though. Love the concept and the execution.
MrCloista  [author] 28 Jun, 2023 @ 11:42pm
Also yes, if the selected Torso is not a 'full body' type (arms and legs included as part of the torso) then those parts will disappear. The point of this mod is to ensure additional parts don't overlap the arms/legs of a full body torso.
MrCloista  [author] 28 Jun, 2023 @ 11:39pm
@Zigg Price I'm curious how you managed to get other cosmetics working for Civilian Disguises as they are a new armour type. Are you also using UC alongside Appearance Manager?
Zigg Price 28 Jun, 2023 @ 9:30pm
Just so I'm following:

I have a few characters that have a mix of More Clothes and male/female clothing pack cosmetics setup in Appearance Manager when equipping Civilian Disguise. When I put the Civilian Disguise item onto this solider, it will show the torso I have selected, but arms and legs go away, because this mod is designed to make those spots blank to make the full body Disguise item work "properly". This will happen every time I equip said soldier with the Civilian Disguise item?
Jess 19 Jun, 2022 @ 9:00am
Haha i actually have that mod already too lol Ok ill have a look into it and see if i can figure it out myself, cheers.
MrCloista  [author] 19 Jun, 2022 @ 8:47am
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2147819175 already does it for the Anarchy's Children dlc in an automated way so it's not hard to do
MrCloista  [author] 19 Jun, 2022 @ 8:42am
Those can be fixed by going into the mod's xcomcontent.ini and removing the 'set' flag from the config lines
Jess 19 Jun, 2022 @ 7:23am
Nope i just have a few mods on that add parts to heroes that are annoying remove without UCR so this mod was super useful for removing these parts from resistance armours, i was hoping there was something similar for heroes in general as some mods like Templar gear and Hero gear adds custom torso's that cant be removed without UCR.
MrCloista  [author] 19 Jun, 2022 @ 7:04am
@jess that's still not what this mod does. It removes EVERY part except torso. Modded or vanilla.
RustyDios  [author] 19 Jun, 2022 @ 5:18am
Hmm, this mod should do this already..

Oh wait... same name here.. @Jess .. are you trying to run this mod with UCR ?
Jess 19 Jun, 2022 @ 5:02am
Perhaps i worded it wrong, un-equip any modded parts from hero classes.
MrCloista  [author] 19 Jun, 2022 @ 1:52am
@Jess no, because that isn't what the mod does
Jess 19 Jun, 2022 @ 12:28am
Awesome mod! Could this be extended to Hero classes as well, so that say a skirmisher goes back to the default skirmisher set when re-equipping?

What video was the talk on?
vulgar_monkey 24 May, 2022 @ 9:36am
Thought so, thanks! Also, enjoyed your talk on Odds channel recently; very insightful.
MrCloista  [author] 23 May, 2022 @ 12:46pm
yes that functionality only works in the armoury, not in the character pool
vulgar_monkey 23 May, 2022 @ 10:49am
Hi - I am trying to use this mod to get clean disguises/resistance warriors etc set up as uniforms within Iridars appearance manager, but am having some trouble getting it to work.

I see the caveat under 'known issues' regarding the manager, but have not had any success in prompting the mod by flipping between armours in the pool editor - I was wondering, does this have to be done via the actual avenger armoury loadout screen?
BurgerKing 18 Feb, 2022 @ 4:18pm
gotta have this..

thanks!
RustyDios  [author] 29 Dec, 2021 @ 2:51pm
the \Localisation\xcomgame.int IS the "config file" for names/strings/words to appear in the campaign ...
Daevinski 29 Dec, 2021 @ 2:34pm
@MrCloista I mean through the config files, without touching the source files.
MrCloista  [author] 29 Dec, 2021 @ 2:31pm
It's in the localisation. I localised it that way so it was obvious where it is from.
Daevinski 29 Dec, 2021 @ 6:01am
Any way to replace the label "CFBA Empty" with "Empty Slot" or something?
Nero 13 Dec, 2021 @ 5:38am
ah i see... thank you
MrCloista  [author] 13 Dec, 2021 @ 5:10am
You need to un/requip if they are showing.
Nero 13 Dec, 2021 @ 4:17am
seems to still force characters to have wearing arm and leg parts for infiltrator disguise even when stored appearance has been deleted
Space_Lettuce_OG 4 Dec, 2021 @ 8:47pm
Oh, I know, people ask the stupidest questions. I too am a modder. Figured you'd get the joke.
MrCloista  [author] 4 Dec, 2021 @ 8:44pm
I assumed that, but you never can tell with some people on the workshop...
Space_Lettuce_OG 4 Dec, 2021 @ 8:42pm
I'm just trollin' for the lulz. Don't mind me.
MrCloista  [author] 4 Dec, 2021 @ 8:42pm
You've lost me...
Space_Lettuce_OG 4 Dec, 2021 @ 8:39pm
Can we get a grimey version of this mod, plz? Thanks!
Bioshyn 21 Oct, 2021 @ 12:36pm
i think i understand now, thanks
MrCloista  [author] 21 Oct, 2021 @ 12:31pm
The issue @Bioshyn is having is he's trying to use a non-full body torso cosmetic with an armour type that usually has those setup as the default. As a result he doesn't have the torso piece providing the legs/arms. These can still be set after the armour is equipped, but will need to be redone every time.
RustyDios  [author] 21 Oct, 2021 @ 10:31am
This mod shouldn't affect any non-fullbody armours?
What this mod is for are the cosmetic torso's that are fullbody (ie a torso cosmetic that also has arms and legs, like the civilian or advent disguises from CI ). When it detects one of these it strips the individual pieces, so that no clipping happens.

When you switch back to the non-fullbody armour (ie Kevlar) that should not be affected, and return to the appearance that was set for that armour.
Bioshyn 21 Oct, 2021 @ 9:19am
so i HAVE to use only full body armors or everything else breaks
Bioshyn 21 Oct, 2021 @ 9:18am
then i misunderstand this mod, i thought it removes all stuff underneath a full body armor to get rid of clipping and stuff, but if it only shows the torso of a full bosdy armor, what's the point?
