what I mean is I can't even enable it, it prints an error message into the console when I try to enable this mod.

That is a curious bug. I geared this mod towards missions rather than campaign. It may be fighting with another mod

Why is an error reported when subscribing to the backward game, indicating that this mod cannot be installed?
