Ah, I see. The propaganda sculptures only work when they use View Art directly on them. I was hoping it would be a passive drain in their radius.

Yes, only the dominant ideology matters. That is, the dominant ideology at the time the statue is created is used for the sculpture. If the colony's dominant ideology changes, previously created statues will keep the previous ideology.

Thanks for your answer. So no matter which ideology the shape of the statue belongs to, it only affects the dominant ideology of the colony?

I haven't tested it, but it should be compatible. The job author isn't used when determining a sculpture's ideology.

I have quite a lot of mods. But the ideology current only has Surpremacist as a meme. I'm still able to spawn in the propaganda structures, but obviously, since it's not made by someone, it has random properties (quality, material, author unknown), and works fine. It's just that my pawns can't craft it.

I seem to be having an issue where every time my pawn completes a bill for crafting a propaganda sculpture, the sculpture disappears completely and the bill doesn't end, resulting in them endlessly wasting resources and time trying to craft a sculpture they don't get.

This mod is generating a lot of these messages:
Tried to register the same load ID twice: null, pathRelToParent=/sourcePrecept, parent=PropagandaSculptureLarge120884

I haven't seen any in-game effects yet but it is concerning.

The statues do work based on my testing. Pawns' beliefs only go down when "viewing" the art, being near the art. I'd like to rework this mechanic in the future, it seems like the statues aren't actually very effective in actual gameplay.

Do the statues actually work? I've got 10 of them spread around the colony where pawns most often go as well as a tube television set to show propaganda. The tube television seems to work(although it works so slow that they easily get back to 100%), but I've never seen a pawn's belief go down while only near the statues

I use the mod for a time now, and i really like the idea behind it. But for me the statues really do nothing, no changes in their beliefs, the TV works but its so slowly that they regain their beliefs faster.
So sadly not helping me, hope you will work on the mod again :)

Would it be possible to make this compatible with Alpha Memes and More Religious Origins? They add a bunch more sculpture styles.

Also encountering a small bug where propaganda sculptures don't link with each other for Meditation Focus; they link with non propaganda sculptures fine, just not each other.

@Vangrant If pawns view propaganda art, it will increase their certainty in the ideology of the art. You can't force pawns to view art, which makes it less reliable than using TV. It will still help convert colonists if you leave it where they spend their time.

I doubt this would cause any errors, but the behavior will be a bit weird, since pawns will be affected by the functionality of both mods at once. This means pawns would be converted at twice the speed or so. One mod might also override the other, depending on how progagandatv is coded.

If you want to use the features from both, I would recommend just not setting the TV to display propaganda, which should mean only propagandatv is active. You can use the propaganda art from this mod or setting a propaganda ideology for TVs in your prisons.

Once I have the time I'm planning to add support for radio and TVs from other mods.

Love this mod to convert colonists without having to imprison my own people, It makes Ideology so much less cumbersome.

Sorry, I misspoke. Nothing will break using this mod with Vanilla Expanded, but any TVs added won't have support for propaganda. I'm planning to add this in the future
