in agreement with the previous comment i am sad that the mod broke, it was amazing for the short time it worked with CTA but cant have everything go our way. thank you for making using melee fun for the short time we had this mod working and i hope someday we can get another one like it

No need to apologise, its not your fault. i miss out on everything that's on nexus, i have made peace with that since its my own personal decision. Was mostly just wondering if you had dumped the file on a random hosting site, i don't actually want you to go out of your way for stubborn people like me, we don't deserve the extra work involved.

It sucks that i cant use your mod anymore, but i'm an adult so ill just make due without. I will miss my melee only mechs but its not that big of a deal, i liked the game before your mod existed anyway.
I still thank you for the good times that i was able to enjoy, i'm sure you don't get as much appreciation as you deserve, but take it from me, your effort has been appreciated. Never feel sorry for things that are beyond your control, anyone that would expect you to isn't worth your time to begin with.

This new development makes me feel very sad, as i have beef with nexus and refuse to go to there for any reason. Any chance there is an alternative place to get the previous file? I would rather swim in a sewer full of used needles than go to nexus. This mod is a great anti-depressant and it has spoiled me to such a degree that i don't think i will ever use melee without it.

Best of luck with your technical issues and thanks for all the work you put into your mods, i shall be rooting for you.

No. It broke because my UE broke.

So I think I found out what was causing this mod to break, the melee weapons have different cooldowns versus the knuckles. I noticed that the Claws for the medium mechs can be swung faster than the Katana for the assault mechs for example.

Thanks for letting us know the old ver on nexus works- the game literally became unplayable for me without the melee buff.

@Lukecis I don't know what the fuck happened man. At any rate, UE is spazzing out on me, that I had to check-disk constantly. I have no way to fix this.

Cause I care about this one more than pre much any other mod- Melee is my favorite playstyle and full melee mechs are basically un-viable trash without this mod working.

Any Idea on how to fix it, I tried re-installing it, enable/re-enable ect.

It was working before then randomly stopped, so either an update broke it or a mod conflict- any idea on other mods which would conflict with it?

On my hatchetman I can swing as fast as I can click basically (its very fun and good) but on my grasshopper heavy ax I need to wait like 5~ seconds to swing again (ew)

Great mod, even more fun now when running YAML. Some mechs just seem to have rapid fire hammer fists now, its like jojo with mechs. 10/10

@Medic#2 even on TT punching another mech doesn't damage your arms, at least on any rules I've been playing with. You might be thinking of charging.

And yea, a mod that would reduce punching self-damage to zero would be awesome, especially if it could be tied to a module on the melee system - like the Awesome's Battlefist.

@Kawa_Daichi Are you saying you want to have no damage while you damage another mech? In table top, if you had Ammo stored in the arms, they could explode. Be happy with what you got.
