when i get around to it yes. if anyone can confirm it is working in 1.6 i will quickly throw the tag on.

@Caz , i tested this specifically so its 100% working with vanilla wall lamps. either you have a weird conflict with a different mod, havent updated yet, or are trying to place the wall lamp on the embrasure (which does not allow wall objects)

Still not able to put vanilla wall lamps on the walls.
The wall lamps from Project RimFactory Revived can be placed on your walls, tho. So maybe it's a tag issue?

For me, this issue only showed up when the wall lamps were added to the base game. Before that, the lights from Wall Light worked perfectly.

alright ive partially rewritten the mod to help prevent future updates from causing problems. @doom587 this should fix the wall lamps not being able to attach to the walls. (i have no idea if steam pings actually do anything)

it's all the walls, i was using the non embrasure versions to make walls inside my base, im... not quite sure what's causing it assuming it works fine for you.

@doom587 thats odd as the walls in the mod should behave in every way like the vanilla ones. is it all of the walls or something like the embrasures?

the mechanic im talking about is being able to mount lights on walls, Wall lamp's, it's new with 1.5 and i didn't know if it was just me or if these security walls can't have lights mounted on them.

you wouldn't happen to be able to modify the walls a bit would you? maybe it's a mistake on my end but is it intentional that the walls can't have attachments?

its cool seeing the original mod author stopping by! this mod is fanatic and simple so i really dont mind maintaining it. if you do decide to updtae it, it would be really cool to see the mod get some more love again.
with the embrasure it probably is a name conflict i just didnt give it much thought since i dont use CE and wasnt playing actively at the time lol.

I would assume it's a name conflict that's causing it, I don';t remember for certain, but I don't think I gave individual things prefixed names to save from redundant names from other mods.

This mod causes issues with other mods that inherit the vanilla Wall-def since it overwrites it unintentionally.
On row 146 in Miscellaneous_Structure.xml the ReinforcedWall definition still has the Name="Wall" property from when the original author copied the vanilla Wall def.

Please fix this by removing Name="Wall" from that def.

I do appreciate that this was updated.
However, the description above seems lacking and misleading.
I wish you would include the description from the original mod - as in the James76543 version updated to 1.0 and 1.1.

It says [Original Description], but it's incomplete as it leaves stuff out. It mentions adding Reinforced Wall and Blast Door. But there's no mention of the Barbed wire that also gets added, nor the Reinforced Embrasure that was introduced in the James76543 version.
