I also got to say, this is some of the best pumpkin palcement i have seen in a map. THEY ARE ACTUALLY USEFUL FOR ONCE!! But not overwhelming.

The bots do have a weird habit of getting stuck trying to jump onto the haybales though...

I've wanted someone to make a halloween version of badlands for forever and this looks awesome! Not ugly as sin, no himongous changes(basically making it a different map) but enough to make it different enough, no ridiculous balance changes. Nice job!

@Keldos Thanks for replacing the lava with liquid my good friend! Now we trolling medics will get to go there and use the meet the medic taunt to make earrape water splash noises. You have our thanks for making this change!!!!:demoticon::steamhappy:

What's with the lava/magma underneath the center point? It doesn't look like it fits the rest of the main map. Maybe change it to blood like how Bloodwater did it so you can put sneaky teleporters in there.

Pretty well made map. I dont think the lava under the bridge is that obnoxious as it isnt an insta kill death pit. What I do find a little obnoxious is how clustered the map is with Pumpkin bombs. For example theres one right by the exit onto the bridge and another further back by the health pack and then theres another on the sniping spot and then another one around the corner, one below that by the stairs and 2 more on the center of the bridge above and below. Way too clustered imo. My suggestion is maybe keep the one by the health and ammo pack on each side, remove the ones leading onto the bridge, remove the ones under the bridge, and move the one on the sniper spot to the lower level by that corner that leads to spawn. Other than that I like it. Very nice.

looks good from the screenshots, its just the fact that its koth badlands that kinda turns me off. 5cp badlands is better imo

spells and skeletons, larger bosses like merasmus or HHH would be annoying on a map the size of badlands

the map was compiled with only HDR, which means you have to turn on HDR to have proper lighting
i'll compile with HDR and LDR next time (stupid me for thinking people play without HDR)

The visuals look pretty good, but i would do something more halloweeny to the spawn areas as well as the outside routes. The map atmosphere looks a bit too default green right now. With some lighting and changing the cliff/grass texture, you could be looking way more appealing map.

Although some of the map does look generally good a tad bit generic but I'm not gonna repeat the copy and pasted message but yea the houses on top of the buildings can be removed I do think it wouldn't make much of a difference and the skybox fog can be fixed so the props in the back don't look odd but otherwise a decent Halloween map as always

Slapping house hats ontop of existing buildings and placing spells around is lazy, also your skybox fog is too bright it contrasts against the skybox

There's a missing texture on the bridges near the watery area at each team's spawn, with the small medkit. Great map.
