Not sure if it's related to this mod or something else. Sometimes if I am on Scaldis (or maybe in the same zone?) ship freezes and do nothing. Usually when flying and sometimes during trade. Captain claims that is flying but ship does not move. When I go out of the ship (sometimes) or go out of the zone (usually) it helps.

Exactly. This mod does not work if REBalance is or was turned on.

Ok, just to clarify - you want to run the mod with REBalance and currently if you run it with REBalance it DOES NOT work ?

Yes, that's what I mean. Because of REBalance I had to restart game. When started new game without REBalance this mod works. When disabled REBalance without restart - it does not work.
Actually since installed Home of Light DLC I wanted to start there but I made so much as Argon that it was pity to loose all of this. It is good excuse to restart anyway ;) Maybe I will back to this save if get bored with HoL.

Glad you found the solution. Let me know if it works when you start a new game in REBalanance. If not, I will make a compatibility patch for it. My mod alone, does not need you to start a new game as it will update all existing scaldises in the world, given it is loaded AFTER the REBalance. If it doesn't happen - I will have to issue a quick compatibility fix:)

Yep, it's REBalance. And with this mod restart is required. Good occasion for restart in Home of Light :) (a bit bored playing Argon).

Checked new game and still does not work. So it must be incompatible with some other mod. I guess REBalance because it's the only mod that changes anything about ships. For existing game it did not work to disable this mod but maybe it will work for new game.

Yes, it's enabled. But not started new game. I check it if it works in new game.

it must be a conflics, as I played few weeks ago, strating the new game and it defo worked.

It seems this mod does not work. I bought Scaldis and it's still with different cargo bay for each cargo type. Maybe incompatiple with some other mods?

[*] Rewritten the logic for the updater of existing ships in loaded savegame.

I can also confirm that:
The fix is not part of the base game with 4.0.
The mod still works with 4.0 on new scaldis, but does not change existing ones (though a manual save-edit by me fixed those).

I can confirm the Scaldis does not have a universal Storage capacity and is therefore an expensive trap. It would be a cool mining vessel but it can only store a tiny bit of anything. I will install this now and hope it won't cause any issues. I assume that this mod is simple enough to not break anything. I hope so.

I can tell you that brief tests of this mod in its current state haven't caused any explosions yet. Still not sure whether to be happy or sad about that.

The description page specifies that this mod is not compatible with game builds other than 3.53. If I were to install this (presently discontinued) mod in game version 4.0, would my fleet explode?

...Looks like there's only one way to find out!

Why was this discontinued? As far as I can tell the Scaldis does not have a universal cargo bay in vanilla game.

I can confirm bubbabenali's information. If you check the details on any Scaldis cargo section, preferably your own, you will indeed see that it is still fragmented into four different sections (not including fuel).

I don't think the Scaldis' storage is universal as of 4.0.
My newly build one stops mining still at 40.000 without this mod.

Hey - in the last patch I implemented a fix that would apply changes to all existing Scaldises maybe for some reason it did not run it at your game. I will test it tomorrow and get back to you.

It looks like it DOES work, based on examining NPC freighters. Just for some reason it won't apply to my existing Scaldis is all. I guess the simplest solution is to sell my current one and buy a new one, since the update won't apply retroactively.

Hmm, I have it subscribed, downloaded, and active, but it doesn't seem to be taking effect.

I've noticed in the .dat file I should be getting debug text saying, "Updating existing vessels..." on game load, but this isn't happening. Is there a way to force the game to run the script for this? Reloading and restarting the game, as well as toggling the extension on and off don't seem to prompt it to run the script.

If I remeber well it should show one giant hold minus the 10 000 fuel hold, but it has been some time and I would need to confirm it :)

Quick question, if this fix is applied correctly will the in-game status menu (under my property -> ship -> storage -> details) for Scaldis still show it as having multiple seperate holds, or is it supposed to display a single giant hold?

That is why you should always ensure mod is up to date with the game build you are using. I have tested it and works just fine :)

Hey. Just updated Ledda Construction Shop and will be playing the game for next few weeks. I plan to update other mods, given there is still the need for them. Will try to find out during my playthrough.
