For some reason I can't set the Potions Per Charm setting in the config higher than 100. These are very OP items, I'd like to be able to set the recipe to require more potions than that.

@techesh I tried it again and it definitely worked this time. I'm unsure why the first time it didn't go through, but I'm glad it is working now. What gets me is that most of time a restart of the game after loading a mod would solve it, but it did that one time was show the recipes with the Guide, but not show the craftable recipes in front of the Alchemy Table with the potions on hand.

Definintely weird, but I'll chug it up to an error on my end and not the mod itself. Thank you for taking the time to respond!

@Ark, I am unsure why it is not working for you, and I apologise as I do not know why that has happened to you. Normally you would just need to stand in front of an Alchemy Table with the potions, just like you tried, and the crafting recipe would show up. I tested it in my game and it still worked fine.

Perhaps are you using a modded potion? Unfortunately I do not know how to make my mod work with others, so it only incorporates vanilla potions.

I think I am missing something extremely obvious, but I cannot make the mod work. I checked with the Guide and mentioned I needed an Alchemy Table; after standing in front of it, I wasn't able to see the charms to craft them. I went to check the config and changed the needed number of potions to 1 just in case, but still nothing.

Besides the Alchemy Table and a copy of each required potion, is there something else I need to do?

Hi there! Really awesome mod, though I'm curious if the luck charm has been fixed. Still having some problems with it, but no worries if its not! Still glad you made this and are hopefully working on it :)

@DruidsUnion, unfortunately no, it does not support other mods, only vanilla potions. My dream would be that it eventually could, however I am not skilled enough to figure it out. I'm having a hard enough time just trying to implement the placeable buffing stations into charms.

this mod is amazing it adds qol while still adding depth and not completely removing the grind from the potion system
it would be nice if the wrath potion charm could be transmuted to its crimson variant


and does this support other mods like calamity?

the mod is very cool! its so much fun to craft smth that will bring QoL

regarding furniture or smth there is an addon 'unlimited arena buffs' - so some of us have all arena buffs along, but u can add some charm so we can get rid of 1 extra addon instead
i mean maybe u want to do some reverse engineering to that addon - just in case

I feel like the Furniture Charm shouldn't block the actual Potion Charm at any stage of the tree, but could be an option to combine both at the end.

The icon could then be your shiny rainbow icon with a little fire or bewitching table or something in the middle.

Hi all,

Sorry, I haven't been on Steam in a while so I wasn't able to get to this earlier. I plan on actively working on the Luck Stat issue within the next couple of days.

As for the furniture buffs idea that Mufscuit mentioned (Such as campfire and heart-lantern), I was already attempting to include them into the next version of the mod! However I am struggling to figure out the best way to integrate them into the existing system, so it may take some time.

I apologise for the slow updates, and I appreciate the patience of everyone who has enjoyed my mod. I will do my best to make the mod as fun as possible for everyone's sake!

Hello! Love this mod and been using it for my FTW Master mode playthrough. Super convenient and works well.

One hiccup: I noticed a prior comment mentioning that luck didn't work, and you said you thought it did. I don't think it does. I've compared drop rates and used a luck stat showing mod. The Omnicharm and all luck charms don't increase luck, even when always enabled. They also override the potions from working. Currently have to use the Defensive, Speed-runner, War, and Awkward charm plus a greater luck potion to have it work.

Also a possible suggestion: Adding exquisitely fed could be a nice addition so food doesn't have to be carried around!

Another possible suggestion: Adding the peaceable furniture buffs so that they don't have to be redone every respawn.

@calvinosinclair, All the graphics for this mod (aside from the potion models from the base game) were done by me. Someone once showed interest in designing charms for me, but after seeing an example, I decided that I wanted this mod to have been done entirely by myself.

Updated to 1.4.4

Config is giving me a hard time, it works, but it doesn't look pretty and I am struggling to fix it. I hope that at least this will be playable tho. Please let me know if there are any issues from the update (Aside from the messed up Config UI)

i WOULD get it, but i know full well that these charms will probably take up accessory slots instead of BuffCharm's dedicated slots, so ill pass until i see otherwise

@Marads~Yuuka, Thank you! I've laid the groundwork for doing that, unfortunately what I need to do next is comb through the original game files to try to figure out how each individual potion is implemented and re-make them in my mod. I wish it were as simple as disabling a UI element...

@Typixel, All luck related charms work fine. That being said, the Luck Charm and Greater Luck Charm were not showing up as a buff icon, so I fixed that. Now, it should only ever show you your best luck charm. That being said, Luck Potions won't work while you have a Luck Charm active (but I haven't fixed how luck charms' luck stacks yet)

The greater luck charm isn't working, it doesn't add any buff and stops all of the other luck potions from working

The options to toggle some only when during events/bosses is really good.

I'm also hoping you get time to work on hiding the buffs from the ui.

@Haakin, Are you sure those aren't just the buffs that you don't have active in the config file? Not every buff is active at all times by default.

@Metal 0-4, Eventually, yes. But I would like to get the mod to a point where I'm satisfied with all of it's own features first. Unfortunately, I've been very busy lately and the next steps in improving my mod are a major task to take on, so I don't expect I will be able to update it for at least a month. Any chance to make them craftable earlier? Using a bottle or anything. I really wanna have them as early as possible, even when we first enter the world and we are exploring, before even the first boss. You can toggle the crafting method within the options. You can leave default the Alchemy and give us a super-early alternative.
