The shuttle is actually set to manual docking. Getting a shuttle to work properly in the PvP mirror is tricky. Usually the shuttle has to be completely above or below the host sub to work. I did not expect the shuttle on this build to work in PvP.
Something you can do however is in the editor, unlink the shuttle from its current docking port. Then attach(link) the shuttles top docking port to the bottom docking port on sub. Save the build with a new name and use that for PvP. The shuttle should mirror properly then.
All other things considered, public players really enjoy this sub for PvP.
Very nice for all the other modes as well.
Aesthetic, and functional. 10/10 sub!
THX
1) This sub has a bit of a learning curve and was made to be playable in both Vanilla and Into The Abyss (ITA) mod which is extra challenging. Overall I feel it is better to leave the price at editor default and let players choose to use it or not rather than set the price higher and make that choice for them.
2) I know what you mean and have heard that critique before. That is a design choice I enjoy in my builds however I do have several others that have no hidden ship components as I understand it is not enjoyed by everyone. Due to the game update many of my subs need to be updated so I will try to address any issues with the subs while I am at it.
1. I understand the speed/braking ratios for an advanced sub to purchase down the line, but it's OP for players to get early on. Maybe dial it back half, with room for upgrades to push it to it's current design spec.
2. While I understand and applaud the clever use of art decor + materials throughout the various ship to mask "hidden" machinery and cargo assets are rather non-intuitive for most players and very easy to miss.
I'll probably go through a clean up most of those areas so it's easier for my crews to work with.
Great work, as usual.
