There is also no Jankamite or lunchbox bomb
I understand you make and tend to this mod in your free time, and I appreciate that.
And I assure you, I'm not trying to be rude here; but you're sitting here and telling me that when I disable *ALL* other mods except yours, go to the vanilla craft menu and it still doesn't appear that it somehow is still my own fault/my own conflict and I should just go F off?

That's proof that it's the *only* mod installed on a brand new world with a new character. I go to the vanilla crafting tab for engineer, I see the recipes posted in the previous posts imgur upload, but no lightbulb, lunchbox, or alternate hairspray recipes.
As per this screenshot, your jankomite (and it's necessary step preparation recipes) are showing up. In addition Propane Bomb *also* shows up. I can also confirm that the bigger noise generator also is working and showing properly as well. It's really just the hairspray, lightbulb, and lunchbox that are giving issues. I'm just letting you know that I've thoroughly tested and disabled all other mods, I've followed the instructions in the mod and ensured the parent mod and all of the child mods are enabled. It's possible that something is bugged.
I started a *brand new map* with a *brand new character*.
I disabled all mods with the exception of mod config, craft helper, and some car mods and your Better Engineer mod of course.

All of the recipes (as shown in the imgur screenshot above) with the exception of the propane bomb, require a "literature item" (also shown in the screenshot). These literature items act similar to skill magazines for default/vanilla recipes. They show up as "modconflict" in the craft helper searcher, they aren't spawned with the character, and they don't appear to exist in the world (in fact the only "recipe" that exists in the world is the jankomite recipe, however it's not a true recipe it's already granted to you, the "recipe" is just a step by step guide)

Either starting again (& maybe gifting yourself your loot using debug if a fresh start is something you'd prefer to avoid) OR using debug to grant yourself the recipes, downside of this is currently there is no way in debug to choose what recipes to learn, it just gives you all of them
I've verified that I have no other profession change mods but if you message me directly I can provide a screenshot of the mods I'm using (the only mod that would even come close to changing professions is the "more traits" mod, but it doesn't change professions).
I've tried ensuring that the entire mod list you suggested is active prior to starting a brand new map and it's not working unfortunately.
DO NOT SET THE NOISE RANGE ON THE BIG NOISE GENERATOR TO 10,000!
YOU WILL HAVE tens of THOUSANDS of zombies on your doorstep. Due to the added zombies on the map edge they will bleed into the main part of the map and it could ruin your save due to the lag tens of thousands of zombies can produce.
Workaround is for players to rejoin before respawning, then all options are available again.
Same thing for host, but server has to shut down and restart.
The non-engineer recipes follow the vanilla recipes as they are also not locked behind the trait only requiring the magazine to be read, the engineer bombs can be found as loot in the world so non engi's can still upgrade/play with them.
The Molotov hand model also follows vanilla as ALL the bombs use that model.
I still don't recommend using this mod in MP as proximity & triggered bombs vanilla or modded are bugged & TIS have alluded to a future fix when the profession update happens. Till then this mod will not be updated as any thing changed could need updating to match the profession change
Lightbulb bomb has a huge zombie attracting power for its tiny bomb radius and considering what it is, should probably nerf that.
Two things bug me about your mod, both fixable:
- Some recipes are not locked to engineer to upgrade various bombs and the trigger. If you can't make the bomb or remote trigger, you shouldn't be able to upgrade it. At the very least an option would be nice.
- You are using the molotov model in the hand for your bombs, at least light bulb, big noise maker, and lunchbox. There's 3D models for all of these things, please use them, it will be much nicer!
i wish that mod collects could be locked to not update somehow, like a fork of the mod content. it makes it impossible to host a dedicated server when you are using a collection as a means for players to get the mods. if you have 15+ different mods on a sever it gets to the point where you have to shut down and restart too often due to client-side version conflicts
items update at unpredictable intervals, so the only way to can create smooth dedicated server exp is to pick a version and repack the mods they want on the server
i know this is not what authors want but it's really the only way that a dedicated server with more than like 2 people and a few of mods can work.
again, I'm not using your content in a repack but just a thought for creators. I'd sooner just go back to vanilla than deal with the hassle of trying to keep a dedicated server running with mods.
