Hey,
firstly make sure you have all other mods disabled, as I cannot vouch for compatibility with them.
Then to be sure, try to stay completetely still after starting the map until you get teleported to the beginning of a campaign map
Hey,
That doesn't sound like regular behaviour, make sure you disabled all other mods and that you don't have any game files corrupted (verify the integrity of files), and try again, as it's possible this was just an one-time occurance. You should be starting the "a2_pistol" map that is available from the custom maps section.
i encountered a bug where the portal at the end made me fall through the floor. i think this is because i was sitting on the floor, in case something spooked me
also when i loaded to my latest save, the black humanoids had turned to black headcrab zombies, and they took the same amount of bullets as regular zombies
this map is great and all but it scared me so much I unsubed because I was worried I'd never be able to play the game without you somehow fucking with me from beyond the download but great map none the less
You also made it into one of those shitty garry's mod horror maps. But that gman zooming at you part did get me a bit because I'm a pussy.
Also oh great, shadow demons. My favorite.
It's a horror mod, that modifies the base game to tell it's own haunting story.
You can start it from the "Custom maps" menu just like with any other mod that add new maps, or it should be also possible to just normally start the campaign with mods enabled.

The game had my steam-id written into it, which was cool. And at that point, it broke the game.
I didn't have a chance to read it all, and would have preferred the paragraphs to remain a bit longer.

I really enjoyed the nom-black, headcrab-men; however, I wish they took more damage.

The psyonic mind attack idea was fairly well implemented, and while I appreciated some of that stuff, it did feel buggy because of it. However, I believe that just a little of this stuff in the actual original game would have worked a whole lot better than Jeff (which I thought was tedious and stupid).

So overall, I would say that this is pretty entertaining. I really appreciate it when people don't just throw assets around and call it a mod. So, with adding in a new monster-type and a new story presentation delivery made this aging game feel fresh again.
It makes some *changes* to few of the campaign maps, to make them more... interesting. Essentially making them a new experience.
So if you wish to play the vanilla campaign normally, probably disable this.
I have tried it, yes. That's what got me confused.
And the G-Man torso flying toward me was just mean. I screamed out out. At 3am.
Then you are blessed! For knowledge can reveal dark secrets you would rather not know about!
It is a lovecraftian horror map; Give it a shot, if that's something you like
