no idea, i'm not directly involved with that addon.
PLATE?
you're welcome to make your own textures and have this addon as a requirement. because i do not own the models, i can't really give permission to distribute the models, same for some of the textures, although i did create a few new ones.
(I just only want to add a flag patch on the front side of some of the vests is all)
not really. you would have to ask the original modelers.
well, Cunico hasn't really been seen since 2018, and while jarr0d is still around i'm not sure the best method to see him other than his steam workshop page since armaholic shut down.
the models contained here are the work of specific authors credited, like Cunico, or Jarrod, et c. you will need to ask them specifically for options to purchase the models.
no worries man, take care and if you need some PC help send me a message or something and maybe i have spare parts or can help guide you through fixes.
unfortunately he did not, i haven't heard from him since that post so I assume he is quite busy or changed his mind. if i had the models i could regularize the texture mapping and change a few other things.
yes for some of them. i do not have the original p3d files to redefine them since i sort of inherited this mod and merged two defunct mods into this one with a few texture alternates. you can look at the configs for some of the vests to get the names that are possible to retexture.
i'm okay with that with credit, however be aware that if this addon is updated, yours may become out of date.
the vests inherit from vanilla gear, and all vests have appropriate values for protection. the only vests without protection are the basic warbelt, which is a set of suspenders. this is true in both ACE Arsenal and BIS Virtual Arsenal.
what do you mean "there is no armor on the vests"?
i understand, it was a stylistic choice to have mixed mags for more visual interest. at the time the models were made it was more common to see on Wagner and other international AK-using PMC to have older mags and some newer mags as they recently entered the market and it was sometimes random what you would get when supplied.
that's not quite how it works re: the ACE damage handler, but these vests are based on vanilla NATO vests for their protection values and shouldn't have any issues with that situation.
if you mean if they're categorized for ACE Arsenal, then yes, they will display and sort properly.
coolio!
i cannot alter the model because i do not have the unbinarized model files, so unfortunately i cannot make those changes.
i'm not sure if i understand - do you mean an HSGI Warbelt for grenadiers? or the tactec vest belt option? for grenadiers to place more VOG grenades on the belt?
i compared the older and newer versions and found the mistake in the texturing for the warbelt. although this doesn't fix the worldModel problem, it should appear properly now when worn.

that'll happen to the world model, but the character model, when worn, is normal. the issue is warbelts were not intended to have a world model at all and so have some mapping problems i cannot fix without the original p3d file.
