Also, it might help to have some sort of signal lights to show that the entrance airlock is working. I spent a while thinking the door was just broken because I didn't realize it needed to cycle them, and that my repeated button presses weren't helping.

I noticed a problem with the landing gear not working from cockpit controls. Messing around with the logic, I was able to determine that all that was needed was to set the control logic from "[Pulse] on Landing Gear Pressed" to "[Signal] is Landing Gear Pressed" and change the Signal Type to "Pulse". Hope this helps.
