the issue with the ballast is that they climb the ladder and then when they get to the hatch whether its open or not they just jump off the ladder

Are you sure you're using the updated version? They should be able to open that as there's a waypoint on top of it. I'm not sure if I can fix the ballast problem you showed, because (as far as I know) you cannot start climbing a ladder if you're swimming (although I may be wrong).

Thanks for the feedback! I messed around with the waypoints a bit, and now it seems to be working better as I was able to lead them around the problematic stairs and in/out of the ballast tanks. Please let me know if there are any more issues! :)

unusable with bots the either get stuck on the door before the stairs to the airlock and gunnery compartment or they literally get trapped in the ballast

I playing on this ship a little and I love it! I've maded some tweaks and changes for my gamestyle but even original project is really solid - could be official sub for me.
My favourite ship now! ( ^-^)
