In prolonged figths with the terrans it shows that its very vulnerable to figthers,
its average high cost did not help either when recovering the losses.
Your other mod with ships for PAR and HOP is really great from balance and design, sadly the PIO did not have the big amount of screening ships to protect the nearly defenceless but hard hitting Triton.
Compensating this with usage of L-freigthers and miners as picketships isnt a real longterm strategy

Probably not with this one since its barely bigger than a M ship, wouldn't make much sense as a carrier.
As for a new carrier, stay tuned ;) there should be some news before the end of the month from me.
Is it possible to change ship type to carrier (like new Boron L size carrier) or make it's unit bay bigger (for making it drone carrier/mine-layer)? I am not sure if it's possible to change ship type without issues mid-save, but maybe you can add 1 more variant of the ship (something with name like 'Poseidon') with carrier role.
The mod is safe to be added in the middle of a playthrough :D
The Triton is more costly as a hull than the Behemoth, for perspective.

I'm looking for frigate with more then 1 S hangar, preferably Terran design.
Could you possibly increase the unit count for drones to possibly 20? 15 even would be acceptable.
Its current count of 2 is far too low even for a frigate that packs 2 large turret mounts and 2 medium mounts, its double the size of other frigate's and that makes it a easier target to hit even for the ai.
the increased drone count would also allow it to be just as flexible as the other smaller frigate's in terms of role's and usage.
Just a couple suggestions! It's a very interesting ship and I would love to see a whole variety of subsets (she would also make an excellent fast freighter or large anti-fighter platform for example).

This is aimed to be a one-off prototype in universe, so right now no factions build it naturally but player can order it from the shipyard.
I plan on releasing a ship mod either later this year or early next year to fully expand the PIO roster to have their own standalone large ship fleet.
It should be included in the next VRO update
Not for this one, but i do plan on adding jobs for the next mod
