This mod is great it makes project zomboid a different game, the only thing i could think to do would be add a version where it uses the metal barricades.

Playing around with the mod, It just feels it would be great trait material in the range of 1-3 points. No idea how to implement it though. Beautifully coded if I might say. the compatibility with every spawn mod has been tried, tested and proved true. THX FOR THE PREPPER SIM

@cr1spy This is not something I would fix. The way this mod was made is very abstract. When you spawn in, it attempts to grab the house that you are in at that moment. It loops through each IsoTile in the house, finds each door and window on those tiles and then adds sheets and barricades. When I first made the mod, there were no good methods to do any of this.

The code is really simple. I believe you can download it yourself if you google how to do it. It's less than 140 lines of code and mostly just for loops. Feel free to edit it and reupload a version that uses traits, confines your barricades to only your current room, excludes large buildings etc.

I don't see it as an issue. The mod does exactly what it say: it barricades your starter home. If your starter home is the police station, you get a barricaded police station.

The mod is great, but I can confirm that it has issues: when spawning at Rosewood police station for example, the whole place has sheets on every window and door inside and out, even the bathroom doors (which don't have windows) and each bathroom stall — all have sheets on them. At the same time the outer glass doors don't have sheets on them, while the inner security glass doors (leading to the armory) have.

The mod also throws the following error at the start of new game:

Also I have had it happen where I spawn in the rosewood police station (this is a bit of an OP spawn considering you get such a large building to work with as well as guns and a location in the middle of town) I am not sure if this is intended or not or if this is just a base game spawn this mod is getting applied to but it might not be a bad idea to disable it if you can.

Might be better to make this a trait or something as it will barricade the building every single time you respawn so unless you are doing an ironman you will have to disable it after first spawn and it will likely cause an issue in multiplayer after a while.

Also worth noting that I had one instance (I may have respawned in the same building twice) where I was totally locked in the building and could not get out. (was the building directly south of the rosewood school with the childs playset in back of it)

Another bug is a sheet will be added to every door in the building including interior ones. Honestly not much of a bug considering it gives you some extra sheets to start with.

I don't know if this is new but on 41.71 I get error when this mod tries to remove sheet from window because sheet has no name and can not add item to inventory.

@SlowPokeDerp that sounds odd. I can't imagine why this mod would break windows. All it does is apply barricades to them programmatically.

So it doesnt seem reported here, so it must be a me problem. But often the start home would have its windows break in the process of the game applying barricades to the starter home, and that would more often set the alarm off, oh boy.
