This is one of if not my favorite mods, please update, hoi4 actually had total war with this mod installed and casualties mattered

30.11.2024 - Seems like it's incompatible with EAW and/or Götterdämmerung.
Enabling this mod with them breaks research options for:
1) late game infantry equipment (non-magical);
2) late game towed artillery (all kinds);
3) special project and tech-tree research for super-heavy artillery (both towed and SP).

For above-mentioned it breaks icons, descriptions, names and gives no effect on completion, including permission to produce.

Haven't tested with vanilla.

I think there is a bug that came about because of the reworking of the "сonsumer goods factories" indicator. I had it set to 10% and it didn't change regardless of focus, events or decisions.

@BlyatifulMan I am afraid I am gonna have to redo most of the changes I did here. This DLC changed so much, that it kinda became useless.

This mod breaks Finland and from my quick testing, only breaks Finland.
I am using AAT and latest version of the game (1.13.3)

What's broken?
- Various Finland's focuses does not give appropriate reward.
- Only default advisers for Finland
- Basically most things added to Finland by AAT. Like political balance, new military guys, etc.

What's not broken?
- Other Scandinavian countries' focuses are fine.
- The mod itself works
- Older things from before 1.13 work.

I hope you can find what is the cause of this.

@vonkaja Yeah, it changes some things in the focus trees and some national spirits. Stuff like the cores Hungary gets, the Maginot Line modifier for France, VIchy France getting quickly demobilized after it's establishment. I did some more things but recently became busy and that's why I have not worked on it for some time now. You should be able to see altered production costs for guns when you look at the mod's files.

hi I tried to undestand out what it modifies:
1- changed production cost of guns to make them cheaper (is it possible to know the values? )
2- made infantry units take up more manpower is it possible to know the values? )
3 - changed conscription laws
4 -change economy laws


does it change anything else?

@Ruby2321 Really? I never had any issue, I could imagine that it is might be more difficult againist a human player but not againist the AI.

@ianthekiller303 It adjusts how much manpower the conscription laws give and the division manpower requirements. This mod could in theory work with other mods, but I made it for vanilla specifically. I might consider making a universal version eventually.

so basically what this does is change the manpower of divisions so that the ai having 300 divisions would not be 3 million on the field but instead say 6 million

base game definitely needs more divisions and bigger and better base ones too, current sizes and number and layout of divisions are extremely non historical

@Huassenbeiger I tried that but it makes minors go nuts on their manpower requirements. They go up to scrapping the barrel and field a unrealistically high amount of men.

I think it would be better to just increase the number of men deployed but not the amount of divisions if you know what I mean. Like just tweak the number of men per battallion and the percentage the mobilization laws give you to compensate so that the amount of divisions stay normal but the amount of men increases

@Huassenbeiger The logic behind all this is that, yeah you can mobilize many soldiers but you also have less reserves if your casualties are high. I also think I need to buff Germany, I am currently figuring out how to do it ideally.

I'm not sure if it's this mod, but the allies are too op, Germany can't beat France, could you make another version of this mod with just the manpower changes and without all the other changes to gun costs and all that?
