Unfortunately the problem will be the recheck time more than the file moves obviously.

I really would love to, but I am totally lost trying to get around github sometimes. I'm still very much a noob on that site and am a bit trumped when trying to select a comparison. I imagine I need to upload something on my end, but I'm not trying to have y'all troubleshoot me navigating github lol. I have too much respect for everyone involved to do that lmao

Came to mention that simply updating the file structure managed to make this one work for me in B42 without any issues so far. Hopefully that proves to be the case on your end as well and that I am not missing something simple.

This mod cannot auto cook pizza (recipe in game) and some recipes of the mod Sapph's cooking. I am confused because some mod recipes can use auto cook. What can I do?

Sorry about that I should have known better. I went through and removed many mods that were throwing errors. Many were not really needed and just mod bloat happened.

Still having issues though. I have since been able to make use of a sauce pan to make something. Yet when trying to use a bowl this error pops up.

Sadly no longer able to use. Does nothing but throws errors and no access to context. Uninstalled all of PZ and mods for a fresh install. Still nothing on my end.

Current version uses all the seasonings nearby.

Is there any way we could protect medicinal herbs to be used in cooking? I often have common mallow and lemongrass on me, for medicinal purposes, but my freaking character always uses them in autocook..

Unfortunately the mod no longer works with nutritionist. Simply when you select nutritionist from the menu and then click autocook it does nothing.

Now with nutritionist setting the mod does not work for me. 90% of cases where it worked before, autocook does nothing at all, with many ingrediences available, and in 10% cases it adds only 1-3 ingredients and rest has to be done manually.

Will there be any ability to automatically open canned goods for cooking with in the future? I know auto eat has the can opening functionality, so how feasible would it it be to have that ability in this mod?

@밝고긍정적인사고 thanks for your feedback. Yes, the new (by default activated) option to use crafted ingredients will go through all the items you have lying around (even more than 7523) and check if there is a craft available that leads to valid ingredients. This takes time, but is a much wanted feature by many, including me. I tested this with ~1000 vanilla items and could not notice any lag whatsoever on a Ryzen 3600. In fact, having so many items in your inventory, even right clicking the ground (in vanilla) produces a bigger lag than AutoCook does for me..

Luckily, this feature can be fully deactivated! Just open your character info, select the Cook tab and disable the "Auto Craft Ingredients" checkbox and there should be no more lag for you.

I really love this mod, but it's not available after the update. It works fine. But my gameplay style is to carry the whole world around in my bag. Every time I make a dish, I read 7523 ingredients. Every time I put an ingredient in the dish, the game stops for 20 seconds. It's in great pain, so I've disabled it. Please help people who carry a lot of items use it smoothly.:sacrificed:

I have kitchen utensils such as a flat-bottomed steamer, baking trays, etc. on my person, and there are also opened cans, fruits, and meats in the box beside me, but the module is not working. When I click the button, there is no response, only the text prompt. If possible, I would like to send you a picture.
Is it in conflict with other mods? the module is very useful,please help me.

@aquelarrefox yes, all evolved recipes are supported. Simply fill your cooking pot all the way up with water. You can also add pasta or rice to AutoCook an extra nutrious meal.

@Racoon i tested with both mods active and did not see any problems. If you need further assistance, pls head to the according Discussion thread and describe your issue in detail.

@Last Man Standing yes, every different item type is a different ingredient. "Food variety" prioritizes alternating between ingredients over all other conditions as this assures a high happiness value . "Max duplicates" sets how often one certain item type may be used in the same meal at maximum.

@幽灵船长 yes, this is not a bug, it is a feature... what is the problem with the tooltip? If you'd like to see a chinese translation, feel free to contribute on github, or create a new Discussion thread.

hello,it can't work now。when I put the mouse over the words Auto Cook,
it says “ use 19 suitable ingredients in the vicinity to cook a 沙拉 according to your configured cooking diet”,how can i do to fix ? do angthing wrong ? help me plese , it never never appeared before

Anywhere I could see some expanded settings explanation? Are cabbages and broccoli two different ingredient types, or are they both a vegetable?
Also what is the difference between changing the number of the same type of ingredients and toggling "food variety"?

I've been loving the mod thanks. but there seems to be aproblem when I use this mod with Immersive hunting mod. any patch that make it work? maybe the mod doesn't have the list from the hunting mod

Tchernobill I though it was part of vanilla bugged feature, not an issue with your mod. Issue with that feature is that it allows you to cood 100% rotten food, it just takes smaller portion of it. I am curious how this will look like in B42. The vanilla behavior of this feature does not match description so that's why I see it as bugged.

well I don't mind to use rotten food to cook, but just those small amounts mentioned in the cooking skill tooltip, not that all ingrediences are rotten, that feels like a bug to me.

so now when I autocook leftovers, it only adds rotten food, even though it should be max 5% on my lvl 7 cooking, and it seems it adds just a bit of it in each adding, as end result compared to normal cooking is very low hunger satisfaction and very low nutritional value. This may go from something broken in vanilla, not your mod, but with lots of rotten food nearby, the leftover diet is not feasible to use.

Hi Tchernobill, the update with canned food is awesome, it has only one issue - when I have set cooking to Leftovers and have lots of perishable food, autocook prioritizes canned food to any other it seems, but for Lefovers I see it should be the lowest priority, right?

@Vini Famoso, this determines how often an ingredient may be used in your recipe. AutoCook will always prioritize variety but in case there is only one or two ingredients, it will not put in more than specified. Maybe it could use a tooltip too...

For everyone having trouble with the Nutritionist: The update did not actually change anything in handling the existing food presets. I do not see how it could have any effect on the ingredient selection, other than changing the values we now have an UI for.
Have you tried starving your character for a bit and see if you were just full on proteins? If you continue to have trouble with it, please check out the Discussion section for the troubleshooting discussion and leave a detailed description including a screenshot there.
