Quick question I hope anyone here can help with:
Anyone knows what mod, or how to do it myself, to change the Yngling dynasty into the Harfagri one seen in this picture? (link below)

Are Norwegian xD Hence why would love having that dynasty Coat of arms and name instead.

Could you make the shields available without the extra features so i could use it in Ironman. I just got the Kingdom of England as the King of France and I want to get this shied as my Dynastic coat of arms and as the coat of arms of my custom Empire

What map graphics mod is that?

May I make a suggestion to a grammatical error? You decision event reads as follows:

My King, we have changed our coat of arms so the whole world knew about out legitimate right on French territories! Raise levies, hire mercenaries and let the war begin!

Perhaps the section in bold should read as follows:

...so the whole world will know of our legitimate right on French territories!

The above is just a suggestion, but as it stands now in the mod - it is grammatically incorrect.

Otherwise, nice mod concept. I like major decision events such as this one.

GMG do you have to be a plantagnet? or just any king of England?
gmg  [author] 30 May, 2014 @ 10:42am
Update: The coat of arms is now changed to the one which Edward III unveiled- instead of 3 single fleurs-de-lis, it resembles the french one at the same time, which had the entire coat of arms covered with the fleurs-de-lis (in the quadrants ofcourse. The original one as stated before was a later modification to the coat of arms.

The whole France being Romance is ironic .
5000 years before France populated by farmers from Middle East . Around 2500 years before
Celtic tribes conquered it ,Then Rome has occupied them forcing them to Latinize .Then Franks have taken over ,though royal dynasty of Franks were from tribe Sicambri ,who maintained they have been related to Cimbri .

Modern French was first adopted in 1536 .
Norman rulers got to administer plebeian masses in conquered region, who were talking d'Oil .
Franks,Burgundians and Danes as Germanics had very important law similarities .
Citizens of Germanic kingdoms had paid no taxes, but were obliged to protect the realm in war times . This clashed with the defeated Romance cultures and resulted in feudal system .

What on earth are you driveling about. Kid? I'm 33. The Normans Didn't adopt French customs, their language was different as was the southern French (Languedoc, Frankish and Norman were different) The Aquitainians spoke Occitan which was different to Northern French. William of Normandy was constantly at odds with the French King before his invasion of England and his son Robert rebelled several times during his reign With the French king in tow. The intial Norman settlers took Normandy by force and were constantly defending against the French until they were offered the region as their own.

Do some reading. Oh, and a quick sidenote...anybody that knows anything about history of any sort knows that sense doesn't play any part in the events.

They hated the French so much they abandonned they own language, customs and legal system to adopt the French one while as you say other vasals of the French king didn't.

You really lack sense kid...

Nice mod by the way :)
La Comte de Frou Frou 29 May, 2014 @ 2:11pm
The Plantagenets were from Anjou not Aquitaine. Aquitaine became part of the Angevin Empire with Elenors marriage to Henry II. Henry II father was the Duke of Anjou. He was the patriarch of the Plantagenet line. The Normans weren't French and in fact hated the French. Normandy was a seperate entity from the Kingdom of France as was much of France owing only fealty to the French King.

The whole England vs France thing is ironic because of the Norman invasion, lingua franca, French Plataganets, Lionheart living most of his in France etc...

Hello I was wondering if you could make a compilation mod with all your mods in it
this way it is easier to manage mods seeing only one in the launcher instead of 10 or 11
Jamesmang101 27 May, 2014 @ 2:59pm
