Im by no means a mod creator, but could you create a modified endocrine booster + a talent?
The talent would be pressure resistance, and the modified endocrine booster gives the talent. I think it would be very good for bots!

Nah, it's cool man. Actually, I'm really glad someone took the concept, thought "Yo, that's cool." and decided to expand upon it. It's real nice to see a different way of making it work. That's the magic of modding, I suppose.

The problem with pressure is that it works rather different than other afflictions in the game.
Since it doesn't cause a hit to vitality and results in a insta-death, it would be really hard to make it work - at least without giving humans absolute pressure resistance. :deadrat:

is it possible to have a version that saves you from being killed by pressure? i only really want it for bots as thats usually how they die as they weren't able to get to the suits quick enough

I'm not sure if it's been said or not already. I've been using this mod over the last couple weeks and humans in general are affected by this mod. Whether they are hostile pirates, outpost dwellers, squatters in abandoned outposts, etc.

About the husk issue, I doodled around with it and found that the following seems to work:

<StatusEffect type="Always" target="This" comparison="and">
<Conditional Health="lt -49"/>
<Conditional huskinfection="lt 100"/>
<Affliction identifier="downed" strength="1"/>
</StatusEffect>

It took a while to find how to tell it to compare conditionals in an "and" format, but with that the second condition to release the status effect when the infection strength goes to 100 is possible.
I'm no modder, so I don't know what downsides this could have, but when I tested it it seemed to work fine.

What this mod does, is that it adds a line to Human.xml that will activate a big buff to health after it falls under the set threshold. The problem here is that it's currently impossible to make it selectively filter out whom to keep alive, with which afflictions, without some decent Lua programming and better modding tools. It would be possible to do that, in theory, though certainly not with an XML patch. @ツSENPAIツ As for the Husks, you can mess around with down trigger threshold, though I suspect it won't do much. The only way I can think of, is to work around with Husk file and their corresponding affliction. @Raven_Frisk As for bandits, not much I can do, sorry.

Is there a way to tweak the settings to where you're still able to turn into a Husk? I'm unsure what to tweak to make that possible.

Amazing mod, always having the chance to revive someone after a disaster and prevent the long respawn process is excellent. i have encountered only one bug so far. During the Terrorist Stakeout Mission, the terrorists have the buffs applied to them making them very difficult to kill to complete the mission. i was only able to complete it by putting them into the wounded state then Dragging them off board letting the Pressure kill them. besides that this mod is super helpful! great work!

@Marvin Heemeyer some madlad found out how to revive people but the outcome isn't that great since revived people do not get rights to control thier revived character unless it's a bot

Lua is possible only with a special library, C# should be possible with a little bit of thinkering around.

I don't know. It seems easy enough already. This mod just adds a simple trigger, that buffs resistance values upon being knocked down. Having to constantly run checks, alter vanilla death behaviour, and also screwing around, probably not in XML, but rather Lua or C#, doesn't seem easier in any way. If you want to turn your crew into celestials, you could pump up trigger sensitivity, so the resistance would kick in as soon as injury would happen.

if you were able to run console commands from the xml you'd be able to revive someone from even permanent death
